L'eau Est La Vie Camp - No Bayou Bridge
"We need you here. We need you here now." - Cherri Foytlin.
Friends - please SHARE this video. St. Martin Parish Sheriffs deputies did this because they think they can get away with it. They do this because they think that no one is watching. LETS MAKE THEM INFAMOUS.
Today St. Martin Sheriffs’s deputies arrested Cherri and three other water protectors at a Bayou Bridge pipeline construction site in the Atchafalaya Basin. The deputies used pain compliance, pepper spray and batons. They arrested us on behalf of Energy Transfer Partners (ETP). On the land we have permission to be. And they do not.
ETP is trying to silence our resistance, but it will only grow. If you ever wanted to join us on the frontlines, now is the time.
JOIN US by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, phone number, why you want to come to camp, when you will be arriving and how long you plan on staying. We will respond with the directions to camp and what to bring.
Then PLEASE CALL the St. Martin Parish Sheriff Department and demand that they stop illegally arresting and brutalizing water protectors: (337) 394-8931
