RED WARRIOR CAMP – FRONTLINE OF DAKOTA
ACCESS PIPELINE PROTEST
ACCESS PIPELINE PROTEST
August 16, 2016
CANNONBALL, North Dakota -- Several hundred water protectors from native nations and their allies have converged on the Dakota Plains Access Pipeline construction site near the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation.
The Red Warrior Camp was established near the site to protect the land and water that lies within the 1851/1868 Ft. Laramie Treaty Territory.
Over the last few days, water protectors have conducted a series of non-violent direct actions to defend their sacred water from the imminent threat of a crude oil pipeline that will be buried under the Missouri River.
