Hackers slammed the Arizona Department of Police for a third time on Thursday night, exposing police e-mails with more racism directed at Arabs, anti-immigrant chain e-mails, and crude jokes about President Obama.
The Chinga La Migra Comminque III, "Fraternal Ownage of Police," targets Arizona's Fraternal Order of Police. The Antisec movement said they are defacing and taking down their websites, on behalf of the rights of immigrants and working people.
"You will no longer be able to operate your campaign of terror against immigrants and working people in secrecy: we will find you, expose you, and knock you off the internet."
At 2 a.m. on Friday morning, all city and state websites for the Fraternal Order of Police in Arizona were offline, including websites for Arizona, FPO Labor Council, Mesa, Tucson and Maricopa. On Friday morning, July 1, the websites were still down.
A message that appeared on Twitter said, "A wild deface appears: http://www.mesafop.com/. Hello, Arizona Police. 6500 officers trying to catch us, we read your mails."
On Friday morning on Twitter, the hackers said they are still reading the police e-mails. "One of the great parts of all this is that officials are writing the word 'LULZ' in their super-serious emails."
The statement with the third data release says, "In this batch of emails we found more racist email chain emails, including Springerville's police chief Mike Nuttal forwarding jokes about torturing 'ragheads.' FOP president Brandon L Musgrave was also forwarding anti-muslim emails while also purchasing large amounts of guns, so we're dumping his paypal and credit card information as well."
The e-mails reveal some of the secrets harbored by the Tucson Fraternal Order of Police.
Tucson Police Sgt. Musgrave's e-mails have purchases for AK parts, with anti-immigrant chain letters, and an incoming e-mail questioning the selection of 'Taz' as a potential Tucson police chief in 2009. It questions the choice and wonders how the candidate got "passed the stalking issue."
The incoming e-mail from a fellow officer in the Fraternal Order of Police says of 'Taz,' "Not to mention he is a stalker and nothing was ever done about that and I think he will have the same type of admin. (cover ups especially commanders) and don't forget he was one of those who resigned FOP because of what we did with Schlitz."
The e-mail forwarded by Springerville Police Chief Mike Nuttal praises torture. Springerville is located near both Navajo and Apache Indian Nations in northeastern Arizona, where Native Americans are targets in bordertown racist assaults.
The e-mail that Nuttal forwards says, "You've got to love this Guy!! DON CHERRY of hockey night in Canada , was asked on a local live radio talk show, just what he thought about the allegations of torture of suspected terrorists. His reply prompted his ejection from the studio, but to thunderous applause from the audience. HIS STATEMENT: 'If hooking up one raghead terrorist prisoner's testicles to a car battery to get the truth out of the lying little camel shagger will save just one Canadian life, then I have only three things to say: 'Red is positive, black is negative, and make sure his nuts are wet.'"
With three data dumps now by Antisec hackers Anonymous and Lulzsec, as Stephen Lemons at Phoenix New Times points out, there are still no e-mail releases of the racist and anti-immigrant Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
In the third release of e-mails, there is a lengthy statement from Arizona State Senator Sylvia Allen, in an e-mail of the Fraternal Order of Police in Tucson, on borders and immigration.
Sen. Allen said of immigrants, "It will do no good to give them amnesty because thousands will come behind them and we will be over run to the point that there will no longer be the United States of America but a North American Union of open borders.
"I ask you what form of government will we live under? How long will it be before we will be just like Mexico , Canada or any of the other Central American or South American country? We have already lost our language, everything must be printed in Spanish. We have already lost our history, it is no longer taught in our schools, and we have lost our borders."
"The leftist media has distorted what SB 1070 will do. It is not going to set up a Nazi Germany. Are you kidding? The ACLU and the leftist courts will do everything to protect those who are here illegally ...," Sen. Allen said in the statement sent by e-mail on June 6, 2010.
Here is the Antisec statement for the third data release, which calls for resistance to governments and corporations:

*******************************************************************************
"For the third knockout blow against Arizona law enforcement, we decided to get destructive. We're defacing eight AZ Fraternal Order of Police websites and releasing a master list of over 1200 officer's usernames, passwords, and email addresses.
Additionally we are leaking hundreds of private FOP documents and several more mail spools belonging to FOP presidents, vice presidents, secretaries, a police chief, and the FOP Labor Council executive directory and webmaster whose insecure web development skills was responsible for this whole mess. We're doing this not only because we are opposed to SB1070 and the racist Arizona police state, but because we want a world free from police, prisons and politicians altogether.
In this batch of emails we found more racist email chain emails, including Springerville's police chief Mike Nuttal forwarding jokes about torturing "ragheads". FOP president Brandon L Musgrave was also forwarding anti-muslim emails while also purchasing large amounts of guns, so we're dumping his paypal and credit card information as well.
Other drama includes internal arguments over FOP positions, disputes over arrested FOP member Michelle Preiss, lots of crude anti-Obama jokes, and lots lots more. Amusingly we also were reading James Mann's emails as they were discussing the AZDPS hacks and struggling to send out press releases explaining why they had a sex offender in their FOP ranks. Initially James changed all his passwords and pulled the AZFOP sites down out of fear of impending hacker attacks, but there is no stopping the kind of chaos we bring upon all those who cross our path.
Truth be told we've been passing around this password list amongst our black comrades for a while now. Much to our amusement we've been reading everybody's emails looking for dirt and personal info, while leaking bits and pieces to expose and instill fear into the crooked cops of Arizona. However the list proved to be too great, and now we are seeking community assistance in going through everybody's inbox to retrieve and expose their secrets. Go forth and bring mayhem to the lives of these corrupt officers, and tell us what you find on irc.anonops.li #antisec.
Let this third and crushing blow against Arizona police send a strong message to the ruling class around the world. You will no longer be able to operate your campaign of terror against immigrants and working people in secrecy: we will find you, expose you, and knock you off the internet. Many lulz have been had while we purposefully strung you along slowly and painfully for the past two weeks. We know exactly what we're doing, so think twice before considering crossing us.
Hackers of the world, join us as we resist against the governments and corporations of the world, for there is enough bounty for everybody aboard the good ship #antisec." 66.

DON CHERRY of hockey night in Canada , was asked on a local live radio talk show, just what he thought about the allegations of torture of suspected terrorists. His reply prompted his ejection from the studio, but to thunderous applause from the audience.HIS STATEMENT:

Police Officer Lorraine Thompson, former president of the Fraternal Order of Police in Tucson, received a long statement from Arizona State Senator Sylvia Allen, regarding the border and immigration, dated June 6, 2010.Here is an excerpt:
"It will do no good to give them amnesty because thousands will come behind them and we will be over run to the point that there will no longer be the United States of America but a North American Union of open borders. I ask you what form of government will we live under? How long will it be before we will be just like Mexico , Canada or any of the other Central American or South American country? We have already lost our language, everything must be printed in Spanish. We have already lost our history, it is no longer taught in our schools, and we have lost our borders.
The leftist media has distorted what SB 1070 will do. It is not going to set up a Nazi Germany. Are you kidding? The ACLU and the leftist courts will do everything to protect those who are here illegally, but it was an effort to try and stop illegals from setting up businesses, and employment, and receiving state services and give the ability to local law enforcement when there is probable cause, like a traffic stop, to determine if they are here legally. Federal law is very clear, if you are here on a visa you must have your papers on you at all times. That is the law. In Arizona all you need to show you are a legal citizen is a driver license, MVD identification card, Native American Card, or a Military ID. This is what you need to vote or get a hunting license. So nothing new has been added to this law. No one is going to be stopped walking down the street. The Socialists who are in power in DC are angry because we dare try and do something. The Socialists wants us to just let them come. They want the 'Transformation' to continue.
Maybe it is too late to save America . Maybe we are not worthy of freedom anymore. But as an elected official I must try to do what I can to protect our Constitutional Republic . Living in America is not a right just because you can walk across the border. Being an American is a responsibility and it comes by respecting and upholding the Constitution, the law of our land, which says what you must do to be a citizen of this country.
FREEDOM IS NOT FREE.
Senator Sylvia Allen."

OK. I did get called by the reporter to verify Leibo's position as a spokesman. The
reporter gave me some of the new names. A few are FOP members. Not all of the
names are DPS, but, most are. There is an AJ officer 'Sabo'on the list. The
reporter said he wasn't going to go into too much depth on the info revealed by the
hackers. Just FYI, I'm going to take down most of the AZ FOP web sites as a
precaution.Jim Mann, Executive Director Fraternal Order of Police Arizona Labor

An e-mail excerpt from Sgt. Brandon Musgrave in Tucson:
"Then the illegals came by the tens of thousands.
Suddenly our taxes went up to pay for free services; small apartments are
housing 5 families: you have to wait 6 hours to be seen by an emergency room
doctor: your child's 2nd grade class is behind other schools because over
half the class doesn't speak English: Corn Flakes now come in a bilingual
box; I have to press "one" to hear my bank talk to me in English, and people
waving flags other than "Old Glory" are squawking and screaming in the
streets, demanding more rights and free liberties.
Maybe it's time for the government to take down the bird feeder.
If you agree, pass this on........."

MNN: 'War Department of Indian Affairs' run by RCMP
“WAR DEPARTMENT OF INDIAN AFFAIRS” RUN BY RCMP - Lock-up Plan
MNN JUNE 10, 2011 According to internal Indian Affairs files, in 2006 Prime Minister Stephen Harper set up Indian Affairs as a policing agency, run by the RCMP and other security forces. This chamber includes CSIS, Fisheries, Government of Canada, Natural Resources and Transportation.
It’s called the “Hot Spot Reporting System”???
Since the 1990 Mohawk Oka Crisis, Canada, security, police agencies and the army have coordinated their forces to spy on us. The old assimilation policy of chasing us into the cities to be absorbed out of existence did not work. They’re also concerned about “splinters” [or thorns in their side] who live outside of Indigenous communities and can't be watched by this upgraded and reorganized “war department."
Aren’t the real splinters the colonial Indian Act, its policies and enforcers? So-called “Aboriginal extremists," Warrior Societies and non-Indigenous support groups are currently outside their surveillance web.
Phil Fontaine, former Assembly of First Nations National Chief, signed the agreement with the RCMP in 2006. For now the watch dog system is restricted to colonial band councils and Indigenous living in reserve communities. Harper is trying to herd the rest to the rez by supposedly fixing them up.
They’re going to become “gated” havens of good housing, safe water and other modern amenities. They know very well that our land base is not limited to the fly specs called “reservations." In fact, all Indigenous anywhere on Onowaregeh, Great Turtle Island, should have all the necessities of life.
With government policy and policing amalgamated, our human rights will be compromised. Indian Affairs and band councils are part of this policing system. They are the Hot Spotters that gather intelligence on us for defending our birthright, our people, our unsurrendered territories and our resources. Almost anything we do can be deemed as criminal, not political. We are called terrorists. We are depicted as restless and militant, just waiting to protest and occupy our territories.
Canada can’t deny our inherent sovereignty over land, air, water and resources. Our trade and commerce to feed our families is called an “illicit” agenda. Our trade relations with our native territories is legitimate. The rez policy was designed to cut off our self-reliance and try to keep us dependant. The Indian Act pushes a non-competition policy to keep our economy from competing with non-Indian businesses. The Band Councils deliver colonial programs for Ottawa. Our communities are divided into “progressives”, who are rewarded, and “traditionals," who are punished. Canada worries about the Haudenbosaunee/Six Nations Iroquois Confederacy. They fear our legitimate positions on land and resource issues are influencing others across Canada.
In both US and Canada we have the strongest position. We never made treaties and remain independent and sovereign. According to our way, land use is the women’s duty. They hold it for the future generations. We can’t relinquish title. It is like children being split from their mothers. Harper, Indian Affairs and the RCMP are concerned about the public sentiment for Indigenous people.
Then why the scheme to try to lock us up! Is it reverse assimilation? This ghettoization plan is designed to put us where they can control us. It’s going to be another failure! The barn door was never closed and never will be.

Jimbo on Flotilla 'Palestinians are living the American Indian Experience'
Palestinians are Living the American Indian Experience

I am one of a group of Indians from several tribes that have been keeping a spiritual vigil with a sacred fire burning continuously for more than two months at a place called Segora Te, which has held the remains of our ancestors for more than three thousand years. The city of Vallejo, California calls it Glen Cove, after one of the 19th century colonizers, and it now wants to develop the land. A similar project is taking place in Jerusalem, where Israel is building a so-called “Museum of Tolerance” on an ancient Muslim graveyard confiscated from Palestinians.
This is hardly the only experience that we share with Palestinians. Most of both peoples have been expelled from their ancestral lands. Both are denied anything more than token sovereignty for their people. Both are kept in abject poverty, which, in the case of the Palestinians, has been called, “putting Palestinians on a diet” by Israeli policy makers.
This year, I accepted an invitation from the Free Palestine Movement, a U.S. nonprofit, to sail to Gaza with the Freedom Flotilla. I recognize that Israel will probably not let us in, and may even use brutal means to discourage us. However, the 1973 Indian defense of Wounded Knee from assault by U.S. forces is also part of our experience, and a reminder that the struggle for our rights often demands sacrifice, whether we are Indian or Palestinian.
Israel claims self defense rights, but we pose no danger. We carry no arms, and no dangerous materials or persons. Under international law, Israel’s only right is to prevent the entry of arms, which will be assured by government inspection at the points of departure. However, we are very familiar with governments that use security arguments against defenseless civilians for the purpose of ethnic cleansing, and the way laws and treaties are disregarded by the powerful at the expense of the weak. This is unfortunately another experience that we share with Palestinians.
Over the last century, long after most of the great massacres of Indians had taken place, the federal government has been forcing us to chose tribal identities or to give up our native identity altogether, which is another way of erasing our identity. Little by little, attrition of our identity continues, as more members of our nations fail to qualify under standards that have been imposed upon us by agencies over which we have little or no control, and whose aim is to make Indians disappear entirely from the continent so that there will no longer be any discussion of allocating land or resources to us.
Our Palestinian brothers and sisters face a similar struggle. Today, less than half the Palestinians in the world possess an Israeli-issued identification card, which is their only means of remaining on their land. Israel also forces them to choose between jobs and education on the one hand, and retaining possession of their home on the other. Those who spend too much time away from home may be refused renewal of their residency permits, effectively exiling them forever from their ancestral home. For millions living in exile without ever having held such a card, the right to return to their homes remains a dream.
Where indigenous nations were once the only people in North America, they are now less than one percent of the population. Although a majority of Palestinians have also been driven out of Palestine, they still constitute almost half the population. Both of our peoples are resisting progressive genocide, which is why we have had an important solidarity relationship with each other for forty years or more. As a member of the American Indian Movement, I feel compelled to support and defend the indigenous Palestinian struggle and all other struggles for indigenous rights. We have welcomed and continue to value Palestinian participation in our struggle, so that all of our rights are respected and restored, and so that our people will live in full sovereignty in their homes.

Tucson: Angry community members storm offices of G4S Wackenhut
ANGRY COMMUNITY MEMBERS STORM G4S OFFICE

Protest Targets Prison Firm for Profiteering, Police Cite 16 for Trespassing
TUCSON --(June 29, 2011) At around 2 p.m., community members burst uninvited into the Tucson offices of private security firm G4S and declared in no uncertain terms their opposition to the company’s profiteering at the expense of immigrant communities in Tucson, across the nation and throughout the world. Incensed by G4S’ role in promoting the criminalization of immigrants and the expansion of the private prison industry, the protestors entered the G4S office complex, delivered a letter to company representatives and unfurled a banner reading “G4S: Prison profiteering destroys communities.”
Today’s action, which was organized autonomously by Tucson community members, was carried out under the banner of Direct Action for Freedom of Movement. Although the protesters were never asked to leave the building, and were there only 10 minutes, the Tucson Police cited 16 individuals for criminal trespassing.
G4S is the world’s largest security company and has public contracts to transport, detain and imprison immigrants throughout the world. The company is infamous for the mistreatment of individuals in its custody, with the most atrocious examples including the senseless deaths of two inmates in 2010. Since 2006, G4S has provided transportation for Customs and Border Protection and, in 2010 alone, secured over 125 million dollars in contracts from the Department of Homeland Security. Read more ...

Border Patrol Headquarters Occupation Protesters Found Not Guilty
Reaffirms Call to End Border Militarization

Chuckson (Tucson), AZ - The six protesters who locked-down and occupied the United States Border Patrol (BP) – Tucson Headquarters on May 21, 2010 were found not guilty on the remaining count of a disorderly conduct "with serious disruptive behavior” charge.
The legal defense, William G. Walker and Jeffrey J. Rogers, argued that the remaining charge of disorderly conduct did not apply because it did not meet any of the statutes of the charge. After three hours of deliberation, the judge found the six not guilty.
The city prosecutor had attempted to re-introduce the previously misfiled criminal trespassing as a misdemeanor charge, but this charge was dismissed after the first trial date for the occupiers in February. After an objection by the defense, the state’s motion was denied.
“Today’s not guilty verdict shows that we, as O’odham, are not the ones who are disorderly. It is the Border Patrol, the Department of Homeland Security, and the various levels of government that perpetrate the violence in our communities,” stated Alex Soto, Tohono O’odham, one of the protesters and member of O’odham Solidarity Across Borders Collective. “When will the institutions, whose conduct continues for more than 500 years of trespassing, that terrorize indigenous and migrants communities, be held accountable?”
“No state entity can deny peoples’ inherent right to freedom of movement," said Marisa Duarte, one of the protesters standing trial. "Borders are a colonial weapon used to continue the genocide of indigenous people and their culture. Through trade they exploit natural resources and use the profits to further the progress of neo-liberal infrastructure projects such as CANAMEX and NAFTA. This results in the criminalization of those who defy borders through living their lives traditionally. You see the forced relocation of families from borders all around the world. Today we say no more to this criminalization of people.”
O’odham Elders and community members attended the court proceedings to demonstrate their support.
“Today we celebrate our victory in court, but understand this is just one step in ending border militarization. We took action last May in order to directly confront the issues in our communities by physically intervening and occupying the Border Patrol station. Since that time, many have answered the call to end border militarization, and victories like today have inspired more action,” said Franco Habre.
As the six waited for the state’s decision, 16 angry community members targeted the prison firm G4S (formally Wackenhut) and were cited criminal trespassing charges. The16 declared in no uncertain terms their opposition to the company’s profiteering at the expense of immigrant communities in Tucson, across the nation and throughout the world. Their action, which was organized autonomously by Tucson community members, was carried out under the banner of Direct Action for Freedom of Movement.
The six still stand firmly with their commitment and demands to end border militarization and their initial demands are listed below:
- Immediately withdraw National Guard Troops from the US/Mexico border
- Immediately halt development of the border wall
- Immediately remove drones and checkpoints
- Decommission all detention camps and release all presently held undocumented migrants
- Immediately honor Indigenous Peoples rights of self-determination
- Fully comply with the recently signed UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous
Peoples
- Respect Indigenous People's inherent right of migration
- End NAFTA, FTAA and other trade agreements
- Immediately end all CANAMEX/NAFTA Highway projects (such as the South
Mountain Freeway)
- Immediately repeal SB1070 and 287g
- End all racial profiling
- No BP encroachment/sweeps on sovereign Native land
- No raids and deportations
- Immediate and unconditional regularization (“legalization”) of all people
- Uphold human freedom and rights
- Uphold the rights of ALL Indigenous People - repeal HB 2281, support the UN
Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People
- Support dignity and respect
- Support and ensure freedom of movement for all people
Soto concluded, “This action was a prayer. We’d like to thank those who stood with us during this process and to all who firmly stand with us to end border militarization. The occupation of the Border Patrol station was never about any group/organization, or us, it was about directly confronting the terror that the state unleashes upon indigenous and migrant communities, so we can critically challenge border militarization. As an O’odham, I always think back to my grandparents’ teachings: We as O’odham people have always traveled freely, regardless of the border. It’s our land, who we are, and we will defend it.”

Border Patrol protesters not guilty, new action targets Wackenhut profiteers

O'odham and Navajo lockdown protesters were found not guilty today in city court Tucson! In a separate action, today 16 people were cited for trespass at Wackenhut, the company that profiteers from transporting migrants from the border in buses.
O'odham and Navajo protesters locked down in Border Patrol Headquarters in May of 2010, demanding an end to the militarization of the border and a halt to the abuses of Indigenous Peoples by border agents.
Wackenhut split into two companies earlier, one to profiteer from the transport of migrants at the border with the buses, and another, GEO, to profiteer from imprisoning migrants and all people of color, in private prisons in the US. Wackenhut security is now owned by G4S based in London and profiteers from the misery of migrants and people of color around the world.

Mohawks have Nothing to Negotiate! Renters have to pay

MNN. June 8, 2011. Kahnawake is a Mohawk community on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River across from Montreal. This tract is part of the greater Rotino’shonni:onwe/Six Nations Iroquois Confederacy territory, which is the unsurrendered eastern half of Onowaregeh, Great Turtle Island.
In 1680 French King Louis XIV illegally gave 45 thousand acres of our land to the Jesuits to turn us into Catholics. They named Kahnawake, our home, the Seigneury of Sault St. Louis. The account, not the title to our land, needs settling. Canada and Quebec’s demand to settle is an admission of our position that the land is ours and always will be.
Kahnawake Is a Kanienkehaka and Ongwehonwe issue. None of Great Turtle Island is for sale. After the French and Indian disputes, the French sued for peace and a return of their prisoners that we held. The Peace of Montreal in 1701 brought peace between the French and the Iroquois and 39 of our Indian allies who signed onto the treaty. This treaty remains active.
Then the Jesuits illegally gave away two-thirds of Kahnawake to their settlers. Only 13,000 acres was left for us.We always lodged complaints against the Jesuits, Governors and the French King. In 1754 Governor Duquesne came to Kahnawake to confirm that the Jesuits had no right to give away our land. In 1762 after the French and British stopped fighting with each other, British General Gage also affirmed that the Mohawks own Kahnawake. He appointed a receiver to collect the rent. Some rent was paid. In 1854 Quebec illegally passed a law abolishing the seigneury land system and our interest to Kahnawake. In 1935 another illegal law abolished the rents payable to us.
Today Kahnawake includes eight immigrant communities: LaPrairie, Candiac, Delson, Saint Catherine, Saint-Constant and Chateauguay; parts of Lachine and Lasalle on the island of Montreal. Also included is the St. Lawrence River bed.
There’s nothing to negotiate. Canada and Quebec have no jurisdiction. Canada wants to offer us a few dollars. They know that Rotino’shonni:onwe can’t be tricked into giving up our birthright. The band councils have no right to settle anything, especially land issues. They speak for the Canadian government, which says: “if we don’t settle, this land will remain in dispute." Title to our territories did not begin when the Europeans arrived. The land was and must be governed by the applicable law, the Kaianerekowa, our constitution.
Our land cannot remain under colonial fraud. The women inherently hold it on behalf of the future generations. Canada is always trying to legitimize their occupation of our land, which we never relinquished since the beginning of time.
Those settlers who do not want to live under Kaianerehkowa can chose to leave. We certainly will not force death and violence on them they did to us. Canada should honourably sit with us and take responsibility for their people’s actions. Indigenous people should be compensated fairly.
Recently Prime Minister Harper apologized to some of those native people who were put into residential schools to be abused and killed. In our culture, an apology means taking responsibility. Words cannot fix the wrongs. You must make it right. All settlers have to make things right. They came here to benefit from our land and resources, while the owners suffer. This is a Kaianerehowa/Great Law issue, which involves all Indigenous people.

Tucson: Hackers reveal data targeting ethnic studies

Updated Thursday, June 30, 2011: Arizona police officers forwarded chain e-mails with the racial slur 'camel licking' and another e-mail that claimed Obama is using someone else's social security number
TUCSON -- Hackers have once again slammed Arizona police, exposing racism and corruption.
In the second release of data on Wednesday, June 29, in the Chinga La Migra Dos files, Tucson schools public safety officer Robert 'Bob' Barry of Tucson, sent a letter to Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne urging an investigation of studies at Santa Rita High School in May.
Barry tells the Attorney General that students at Santa Rita High are being "indoctrinated" because they are being told about the genocide of Native Americans.
Barry calls a diversity speech "hate speech," in the message posted below.
Barry, who retired from the Department of Corrections as a criminal investigator, is a school safety officer with Tucson Unified School District .
Barry's other e-mails reveal his anti-immigration, and anti-immigrant, stance.
Barry's report to the Attorney General focused on a talk by Cavlin Terrell to students.
Terrell is a motivational speaker who speaks on diversity issues. In a separate school newsletter online, Marocs de Niza High School praised Terrell for his talk, "From Coward to Warrior," to students last summer.
Meanwhile, in the second Chinga La Migra release, Anonymous found documents exposing racial discrimination against Navajos by Arizona police.
The released files reveal that charges against Navajos were illegally filed in state courts, rather than tribal courts. One Navajo officer from Teec Nos Pos, Arizona, said he was retaliated against by his superior when he discovered the illegal filing of charges of crimes occurring on Navajoland.
The Navajo officer filed a discrimination complaint with the Arizona Department of Public Safety. However, in the data release, attorneys told the Navajo officer that he would need an initial $10,000 and an estimated $40,000 to pursue a lawsuit against the Arizona Department of Safety in court.
Anonymous said they targeted Arizona police to expose racism and corruption.
The first release specifically was in opposition to SB 1070 and the Border Patrol. According to their Twitter messages, the first Arizona data release was from Lulzsec, whose members said they disbanded and rejoined Anonymous.
The latest statement said they are targeting racism and injustice.
The second release reveals police officers forwarded racist chain e-mails. One of these offensive e-mails includes the racial slur "camel licking."
The forwarded e-mail begins with: "For the few of you who missed him, R. Lee Ermey is the host of The History Channel's 'Mail Call' and played the Drill Instructor in the movie, 'Full Metal Jacket.' He is a retired Marine Gunnery Sergeant and a very plain speaker, as you will soon read. So, for your entertainment, here is Retired Marine Gunnery Sergeant R. Lee Ermey at his first press conference."
The e-mail continues with the reaction to the world's opinion of the operation in Iraq. Emery says: "'OH SURE! YOU DON'T KNOW THE TIMES I HAVE CRIED MYSELF TO SLEEP WORRYING ABOUT WHAT SOME GODDAMNED FRENCH PANSY THINKS! OH THE DAYS I HAVE HAD TO WEEP BECAUSE SOME SHIT EATING TERRORIST SCUMBAG MIGHT BE MAD AT US, BECAUSE WE WENT INTO WHATEVER GOD FORSAKEN HOLE IN THE SHIT THAT HE LIVES IN AND KILLED HIM. WHAT THE HELL KIND OF DUMBASS QUESTION IS THAT YOU PETER-PUFFING JACKASS? WE ARE THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA , AND WHEN YOU ATTACK US, WE ARE GOING TO COME TO YOUR HOUSE AND BLOW YOUR STINKING CAMEL-LICKING CARCASS INTO PI ECES SO SMALL WE WILL BE ABLE TO BURY YOUR SORRY ASS IN A THIMBLE!"
In another e-mail, a police officer forwards a message concerning President Obama and the belief that he is not a US citizen. This message states that Obama is using a deceased person's social security number. In other e-mails from this officer, there is information on a police officer who is a registered sex offender, registered in South Carolina, and is removed from the Arizona police fraternity lodge.
Anonymous said, "Police officers who lock people up for decades, who get away with brutality and torture, who discriminate against people of color, who make and break their own laws as they see fit. We are making sure they experience just a taste of the same kind of violence and terror they dish out on an every day basis. Our advice to you is to quit while you still can and turn on your commanding officers before you end up in our cross hairs next, because we're not stopping until every prisoner is freed and every prison is burned to the ground."
Message below from Tucson school safety officer Bob Barry to Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne:

Bad things happening at TUSD (again)
Tuesday, May 24, 2011 6:45 PM
I would like to let you know about a indoctrination going on at Santa Rita H.S. in Tucson.
There is a spokesman Calvin Terrell who if from African American studies who is telling staff, students, and monitors that the white teacher does not understand the African Americans and that the White man conducted a genocide on the Native Americans.
Also staff have been told they are sitting in Mexico in the auditorium.
He is teaching hate speech with the confidence of the [principal and this is not taking place at any other school.
The principal has mandatory attendance with "sub" available in a cash strapped district to attend these classes and PD hours spent on his briefings. There is role playing where the Whites are the root of all evil.
Someone should look into this.
He passes out ligature and demands by threat that no one show it to anybody.
There is a number of staff who dislike this program but afraid to speak up because they are in fear of their positions.

Just when you thought it was over, we're hitting the Arizona police state with our second round of attacks. In our first bulletin we dumped a treasure trove of secret law enforcement documents. In this second bulletin, we're dumping booty pirated from a dozen Arizona police officer's personal email accounts looking specifically for humiliating dirt. This leak has names, addresses, phone numbers, passwords, social security numbers, online dating account info, voicemails, chat logs, and seductive girlfriend pictures belonging to a dozen Arizona police officers. We found more internal police reports, cops forwarding racist chain emails, k9 drug unit cops who use percocets, and a convicted sex offender who was part of FOP Maricopa Lodge Five.
We also hit the AZDPS spokesperson Stephen Harrison who been bragging to the news about how they are upgrading their security and how they will catch the evil hackers who exposed them. Clearly not secure enough, because we owned his personal hotmail, facebook and match.com accounts and dumped all his personal details for the world to see. The same fate will meet anyone else who tries to paint us as terrorists in an Orwellian attempt to pass more pro-censorship or racial-profiling police state laws.
We also found details of Jeff Wilson, a former DPS officer and member of a Navajo tribe, planning on suing the department for racial discrimination charges. Amongst the civil rights violations occuring in AZDPS, Sgt. Jeff Eavenson and others were illegally issuing tickets to Navajos in AZ state court jurisdiction instead of tribal courts. When Jeff Wilson brought these charges up to the department, they punished him and pushed him out of the police force. We welcome Wilson's attempts to expose his racist administrators and so we won't be releasing his info.
Yes we're aware that putting the pigs on blast puts risks their safety, those poor defenseless police officers who lock people up for decades, who get away with brutality and torture, who discriminate against people of color, who make and break their own laws as they see fit. We are making sure they experience just a taste of the same kind of violence and terror they dish out on an every day basis. UPDATE: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - June 29, 2011
Audacity Invites Media to Inspect
Boat and Passengers
"We're Sulfur-Free and Ready to Sail"
Passengers on the U.S. Boat to Gaza, The Audacity of Hope, invite Greek and international media to inspect The Audacity of Hope at 3 pm Athens time on Thursday, June 30, in the town of Perama (next to Piraeus), 42 Democratis.
The entire boat will be open for view, photography, and video. The captain, crew, and passengers on the boat will be available for interviews and inspection. The cargo of the ship - 3,000 letters from Americans to the people of Gaza - will also be available for view, photographs, and video. Everything that will be on the boat when it sets sail, including food and passengers' personal medications for use during their voyage, will be available for inspection.
The Audacity of Hope was inspected by Greek officials on Monday, June 27 after a complaint was lodged by an Israeli group that the vessel was not seaworthy. We have not yet received notification of their findings nor a copy of their report, but we are certain that our boat is up to code. Meanwhile, Israeli officials have made outrageous allegations that passengers on the flotilla will be bringing "sacks of sulfur" to pour on Israeli soldiers. Even Members of Israel's own security cabinet have dismissed these charges as "media spin" and "public relations hysteria."* We invite the media onto our boat to conduct a thorough inspection. We are confident that such an inspection will show that our boat is "sulfur-free" and ready to sail.
"On behalf of the 36 passengers and 4 crew on The Audacity of Hope, I invite the media to ask us anything, inspect anything, taste our food, look inside our bags" said Gale Courey Toensing, a passenger on the American boat. "Our voyage is totally transparent and we have nothing to hide. All we want to do is sail to Gaza with our cargo of letters from Americans to the people of Gaza."

BORDER PATROL OCCUPIERS TRESPASSING CHARGE DROPPED
CALL FOR ACTION FOR JUNE 29, 2011
Chuckson (Tucson), AZ - The six protesters who locked-down and occupied the United States Border Patrol (BP) – Tucson Headquarters on May 21, 2010 are returning to trial to fight the remaining count of disorderly conduct "with serious disruptive behavior” charge. Last February the six also stood trial for a charge of criminal trespassing, but their defense team discovered that the trespassing charge was incorrectly filed by the State. The defense then filed a motion to dismiss the charge of criminal trespassing, which the court granted. The six return to trial on June 29, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the Tucson City Court.
In addition to the kick off of the trial, the border patrol occupiers called for renewed action against border militarization. More than 40 protesters took to the streets, with banners reading, “Indigenous Resistance, Protect Sacred Places”, “Free Movement for People Not Commerce, Tear Down the Wall” and chanting “No Borders, No Border Patrol.” Two protesters were arrested. A banner reading “Border patrol out of O’odham land ” was also suspended from the “Snake Bridge” that morning before court. At one point they rallied in front of the streamline courtroom. Operation Streamline, started in 2005 is a “zero tolerance” rapid court process that prosecutes hundreds of migrants a day, sometimes in shackles. Constitutional rights are also not granted and what would take multiple hearings is often a less than a two-day process of arrest and deportation.
O’odham Elders attended the court proceedings to demonstrate their support.
Alex Soto, Tohono O’odham, and one of the arrestees states, "It was good to see all the support last February for our initial trial proceeding. We need to continue to build, and remember this action was a prayer, and the dismissal of trespassing reaffirms that the Border Patrol troops are the real trespassers, not us. How can I, a Tohono O'odham person, be trespassing on my own land?”
“Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Border Patrol, Immigration Custom Enforcement and their corporate backers such as Wackenhut, are the true criminals. Troops and paramilitary law enforcement, detention camps, check points, and citizenship verification are not a solution to ‘issues’ of migration. Indigenous Peoples have existed here long before these imposed borders, and Elders inform us that we always honored freedom of movement. Why are Indigenous communities and the daily deaths at the border ignored? The impacts of border militarization are constantly being made invisible in and by the media, and the popular culture of this country. Even the mainstream immigrant rights movement has often pushed for “reform”, which means further militarization of the border, leading to increased suffering for Indigenous communities. Border militarization destroys Indigenous communities." stated Soto.
Kevin Jose, Akimel/Tohono O’odham, and member of O’odham Solidarity Across Borders states, "During the time of this action, my thoughts ran so deep as to what else we could do and what we can make happen. Singing for them at this action was powerful and their hearts were stronger than ever. What the state does on the control of free movement along our traditional lands is like a choke hold to our throats. The push to militarize the border does not just affect the Tohono O’odham who live in the border region, it affects all O’odham. In Tohono, it comes in the form of a border wall, in the Gila River Indian Community; it comes in form of a freeway”.
Currently the state of Arizona is pushing for the construction of the South Mountain Loop 202 freeway extension on Akimel O’odham land (Phoenix Area). The Loop 202 is part of the CANAMEX transportation corridor, which is part of the larger NAFTA highway project. The two proposed routes will either result in a loss of approximately 600 acres of tribal land, and the forced relocation of Akimel O'odham and Pee-Posh families or would gouge a 40-story high, 200-yard wide cut into Muadag Do'ag (O'odham name for South Mountain), which is sacred to all O'odham and Pee-Posh.
“Neo-liberal projects such as CANAMEX and NAFTA are attacking O’odham communities. All these attacks are connected. Support our nawoj (friends) on June 29th for their trial" stated Jose.
The creation of the current U.S./Mexico border, 45 O’odham villages on or near the border have been completely depopulated.
According to the migrant support group No More Deaths, from October 2009 to April 2011 there have been more than 338 deaths on the Arizona border alone.
1,200 National Guard troops have been stationed along the southwestern border since June 2010.
Additionally, the state of Arizona recently passed a bill which will allow for Arizona to build its own border wall. The law goes into effect July 20 of this year.
Actions toward ending border militarization and the decriminalization of our communities:
- Immediately withdraw National Guard Troops from the US/Mexico border
- Immediately halt development of the border wall
- Immediately remove drones and checkpoints
- Decommission all detention camps and release all presently held undocumented migrants
- Immediately honor Indigenous Peoples rights of self-determination
- Fully comply with the recently signed UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples
- Respect Indigenous People's inherent right of migration
- End NAFTA, FTAA and other trade agreements
- Immediately end all CANAMEX/NAFTA Highway projects (such as the South Mountain Freeway)
- Immediately repeal SB1070 and 287g
- End all racial profiling
- No BP encroachment/sweeps on sovereign Native land
- No raids and deportations
- Immediate and unconditional regularization (“legalization”) of all people
- Uphold human freedom and rights
- Uphold the rights of ALL Indigenous People - repeal HB 2281, support the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People
- Support dignity and respect
- Support and ensure freedom of movement for all people
Put this message into action and help end the attack on Indigenous and migrant communities. Take these messages to the streets, wherever you are. If you can, join us inside and outside the court room in Tucson at 2:00pm on June 29, 2011.
Tucson City Court is located at 103 E. Alameda St. Tucson, AZ.

Copwatch and Infoshop on Missouri's bizarre watch list of domestic threats
Copwatch, Infoshop and Christian vegetarians are on Missouri’s domestic terrorist ‘treat’ list -- rather than ‘threat’ list -- thanks to a misspelled word
By Brenda Norrell

Copwatch, Infoshop and Christian vegetarians are all under surveillance because they pose a “significant domestic terrorist” threat.
Why? Because they are anarchists, according to the Missouri Information Analysis Center (MIAC) of the Division of Drug and Crime Control.
Well, actually, due to a misspelled word, it says they all pose a “significant domestic terrorist ‘treat’ at this time.”
Missouri, are they domestic threats or domestic treats?
The report, “MIAC Strategic Report 11-28-2008 on Anarchists,” is a police watch list published in 2008. The watch list was exposed by Lulzsec, in the Arizona Department of Public Safety files.
The Missouri watch list tosses feminists, peace activists, labor activists and environmentalists into the mix.
“Although they have not all been listed, we believe the groups discussed pose a significant domestic terrorist treat at this time,” the report states.
In its bizarre categories of anarchists, the Missouri watch list states, “direct action radical sub-groups not all believe in violence.” Feminists, peace activists and race equality activists are listed as anarchists in the Anarchist Punk category.
“Many Anarcho-Punks are supporters of issues such as animal rights, racial equality, anti-heterosexism, feminism, environmentalism, worker's autonomy, the anti-war movement, and the anti-globalization movement.”
Christian vegetarians are apparently something to be feared, at least by Missouri officials, who fail to explain how being a vegetarian deserves a mention on a police watch list.
Here’s what Missouri officials say:
“Christian anarchists have opposed war and other ‘Statist’ aggression through nonviolent tax resistance. Many Christian Anarchists were vegetarian or vegan.”
The watch list includes a variety of labor union organizations, Black Bloc and eco-anarchist groups, without naming any personal names.
Although Copwatch is most often considered a human rights organization and Infoshop, an online news source, Missouri officials, however, place both on the anarchists watch list, as domestic threats:
Copwatch is a network of United States volunteer organizations that "police the police". Copwatch groups usually engage in monitoring of the police, videotaping police activity, educating the public about police misconduct, and advocating for more accountable law enforcement practices.
The main function of most Copwatch groups is monitoring police activity. "Copwatchers" go out on foot or driving patrols in their communities and videotape interactions between the police and civilians. Some groups also patrol at protests and demonstrations to ensure that the rights of protesters are not violated by police officers. Copwatch organizations generally abide by a policy of non-interventions with the police, although this may not be true for all groups. Paul Owns the Sabre Long Walk 2 by Brenda Norrell |
Long walker Paul Owns the Sabre, Lakota from Cheyenne River, South Dakota, said he was surprised and honored to discover that one of his paintings is in the Smithsonian's National Museum of American Indians.
"Something good has come out of this walk for me personally," Owns the Sabre said.
The Lakota elder, 71, has been on the Long Walk 3 across America for the Reversal of Diabetes, which left the west coast in February and will arrive in DC the first week of July.

Owns the Sabre said he is glad to know that his artwork will be there for future generations, along with his contributions to the Longest Walks across America. He was walked across America on the original Long Walk for American Indian rights in 1978.
"It is a chance to leave something behind artistically. Its good to leave all this to future generations. Not many people have the chance to do this."
Appreciating the donation to the museum, Owns the Sabre said, "It is good that people think well enough of you to do this. That's really something, what can you say."
On the Long Walk 2 northern route across America in 2008, Owns the Sabre was reunited with his mother Thelma Franks, in Colorado, who he had not seen in 30 years. They reunited in Eads, Colorado, before the long walkers gathered for prayers at dawn at the site of the Sand Creek Massacre, where Cheyenne Arapaho women and children were among those massacred.
Franks passed to the Spirit World the following year.

ALERT: Snowbowl Begins Clear-cuts on Holy San Francisco Peaks

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- Owners of Arizona Snowbowl ski area have started clear-cutting rare alpine forest for new ski runs on the Holy San Francisco Peaks.
According to an Environmental Impact Statement more than 74 acres are slated to be cut.
Owners and operators of Arizona Snowbowl began partial development of a 14.8 mile pipeline last month.
If completed, the pipeline will transport up to 180 million gallons of treated sewage effluent from the City of Flagstaff to the ski area for snowmaking.
The treated sewage has been proven to contain contaminants such as pharmaceuticals and hormones. Currently this matter is subject of a lawsuit asserting that the Forest Service, who manages the Peaks as public lands, did not test or seriously consider impacts if humans ingest the fake snow.
Snowbowl started development in May even though the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has yet to make a decision on the current case.
Development of the pipeline was temporarily halted on June 16th when six individuals locked themselves inside the pipeline trench and to construction equipment.
After holding off construction for nearly 5 hours, the direct action ended with the arrests of those involved.
The San Francisco Peaks are held holy by more than 13 Indigenous Nations.
Former Navajo Nation President Joe Shirley Jr. made the point clear when the Forest Service initially approved the development in 2004, "When you build on [The Peaks], when you talk about putting wastewater on it, you are desecrating our life. You are chipping away at our way of life and committing genocide"
Please read the statement from the six protesters who literally placed themselves in the trenches: www.indigenousaction.org/statement-from-6-protesters-arrested-for-stopping-snowbowl-pipeline
