Chief Arvol Looking Horse, 19th Generation Keeper of the Sacred White Buffalo Calf Pipe, describes the energy shift needed to save Mother Earth and ourselves.
Chief Looking Horse welcomed all to World Peace and Prayer Day, and spoke of the need for all the world's peoples to come together in unity.
Speaking with Tiokasin Ghosthorse, Cheyenne River Lakota host of First Voices, Chief Looking Horse begins by describing a dream that he had as a child.
He dreamed of the Earth opening up, and circles of people standing together, with a Sacred Fire in the middle.
As a child he followed the words of his father, and prayed about this dream, and waited for it to reveal itself.
Chief Looking Horse said when the White Buffalo Calf was born in 1994 in Wisconsin, "through Ceremony we made a statement to the world."
"From here on we are going to see global disasters, we are going to see Earth changes, and climate changes, and we are going to see people that are spiritually disconnected. We are going to see a lot of pain and suffering, and we must unite spiritually."
"That is the only way we are going to save Mother Earth and save ourselves. If Mother Earth dies, we die."
Chief Looking Horse said, "Mother Earth is drying up."
"We took a stand at Standing Rock, and I shared that teaching of Crazy Horse, one of his last dreams in the Black Hills, the heart of Mother Earth."
"It is shaped like a heart."
"We can't do it alone, we need the whole world together."
Chief Looking Horse spoke on Sacred Water.
"In Ceremonies, we pray with the water. It is the first medicine the Great Spirit gave us."
The First Spirit was red, was hot. The Second Spirit was water.
Chief Looking Horse said when the two came together, it created a Sacred Energy.
Even before Fukushima, the poisons of Earth Mother were known. This is one of them, he said.
"It is going to affect us because it is now going into the air."
Chief Looking Horse said an energy shift is needed to heal the earth and unite the people.
Chief Looking Horse invited everyone to the World Peace and Prayer Day, to the Sacred Fire, June 18 -- 21, with the Sycuan Kumeyaay, in El Cajon, Calif.
