Owe Aku International Justice Project: Planning and Strategy for World Conference on Indigenous Peoples 2014

March 1, 2012

Brothers and Sisters, Greetings from Owe Aku International Justice Project.

In preparation for next week's North American Indigenous Peoples' Caucus meeting being hosted by the Chiefs of Ontario in Niagara, Canada, Owe Aku is proud to submit the attached report and update on the preparations for the World Conference on Indigenous Peoples to be held in 2014. Due to health issues, I am not going to be able to attend the Caucus meeting in person, but Kenneth Deer will be able to answer any questions and feel free to contact me if you would like to make direct inquiries to myself or Owe Aku. We send you our best wishes for this important meeting and look forward to greeting you all in New York City for the Forum.

Because this is an issue of importance to Indigneous peoples around the globe, and in keeping with our responsibilities to try and share the information as widely as possibly, we are also sending the report to our Indigneous brothers and sisters around the world and encourage them to share it with their networks.

pila maya yelo,
Kent Lebsock

P.S. We are not sure that hard copies will be available at the North American Caucus so we encourage those who can to maybe make and take along an extra copy to share with someone who may not have received it via email. Thank you.
