The Truth from the Meeting of Wet'suwet'en and Tyendinaga Mohawks

This is a photo of the Hereditary Chiefs in Tyendinaga on a conference call with B.C. RCMP. I was there as a witness and observer and can verify what the Hereditary Chiefs are reporting is true, that the RCMP is saying one thing to the public and media, and another thing to them.

On Feb 21, following the meeting in Tyendinaga and following Trudeau’s press conference the hereditary chiefs had a phone call with the BC RCMP where the RCMP reiterated that they are NOT leaving Wet’suwet’en territory to allow, in part, CGL to continue their work.

I need to explain something to people in case there is any confusion going on with the recent announcement by the BC RCMP that they are pulling back out of Wet’suwet’en territory.

It’s a bald faced lie. I heard with my own ears the voice of the RCMP representative say they aren’t leaving.

As Chief Woos said in the press conference, “out means out.”

I have a couple questions that I hope the media will begin to ask:

1. When did Trudeau know that CGL was going to fail it’s environmental assessment and be put on a 30 day stop work order?

2. If CGL is on a stop work order for 30 days why is the RCMP saying they need to stay so that CGL can continue working?

3. If Trudeau knew CGL failed their assessment and knew the news was going to be released on Feb 21, is this why he chose to hold a press conference the same day and conveniently not mention that to the press?

4. Why is CGL still on Wet’suwet’en lands when they have a 30 day stop work order?

You see, this could so easily be solved if the government RCMP and CGL would stop playing games here.

They are wrong. They are lying. And we all see it and know it. That’s why everyone is standing up together.
