Navajo and Hopi volunteers never give up as the sixth month of the pandemic approaches

Mercury Bitsuie, joined by his Uncle Andy Dann was in Sanders, Arizona, delivering relief to his community. "Delivering food and supplies in my community today. Have a wonderful day," Mercury said, after getting his vehicle running again and back on the road. Mercury and Uncle Andy Dann are among the Dine' volunteers raising their own funds and delivering to their families, relatives and communities.

Glenda Tsosie Wheeler said, "Thank you to Ganado Apache County District 2 for assisting with distribution for the Navajo Hopi Families Covid19 Relief for the community members of Ganado/ Kinlichee Chapter. It's a very much needed support to the entire community.  We help serve families that apply on-line requesting for assistance. And we assisted with giving information and handing out fliers. Next time please assist in helping a family member, Mom, Dad, Uncle, Chei, Grandma, Grandpa, Friend or a neighbor in applying online to get assistance. Glenda Tsosie Wheeler said, "Thank you Apache County Yard District 2 for hosting Navajo Hopi Families COVID 19 Relief for the families and community of Kinlichee/ Ganado Chapter.  It was a lot of work. Thank you to the volunteers, WilmaShorty, LeAnderson Leonard, and Apache County District #2 Supervisor Alton Joe Shepherd, Gabriel Freeland, Flora Nez, Tyler Bia Warren Thoma, Heather, Lonnie, Art, Ray, and a big 'thank you' to Craig for providing the volunteers an awesome lunch yesterday. We had a great time and safety was very well-practiced. We also worked well in providing for the sanitation of the shipment very well. Thank you very much for hosting and housing the team and me, and having the time to assist in providing what is very important to the Navajo Hopi Families Covid-19 Relief. Ms. Vanessa Tullie will appreciate it very much. Western Navajo Seamstresses sew their own and welcome donations. Masks and scrub caps sewn by Dina Yazzie, Red Dawn George, Pamela Cooke Meade, Kammy Harding-Crumbo and Cathy Miller.

Bitahnii Wilson, Dine' volunteer, has been delivering water and water barrels to Navajo
and Hopi families, and made one relief delivery to White Mountain Apache.
