Civil Air Patrol Surveilled Area of Border Patrol Protest -- Tohono O'odham Demand Justice for Raymond Mattia

Civil Air Patrol, a volunteer auxiliary of the U.S. Airforce, monitored the region where Tohono O'odham protested the U.S. Border Patrol at the Ajo station on Saturday. The surveillance began as supporters were traveling to the protest. They called for justice for Raymond Mattia, murdered by the U.S. Border Patrol.  A second Civil Air Patrol plane surveilled the area where Raymond lived and was murdered, on Sunday morning. AJO, Arizona -- The Civil Air Patrol, an auxiliary of the U.S. Airforce manned by volunteers, surveilled the area where Tohono O'odham protested the U.S. Border Patrol at Ajo on Saturday morning. The aerial surveillance included the western portion of the Tohono O'odham Nation where Raymond Mattia, Tohono O'odham, was murdered by the Border Patrol.

Paiute Massacre Site -- Urgent Need for Attorneys to Fight Restraining Orders

 

Paiute Shoshone defenders of the unmarked burial places at the Massacre Site are in urgent need of attorneys as they must now battle Lithium Americas, a foreign corporation, that is digging into the land for lithium with permits from Biden and the Interior Department in northern Nevada. Biden calls this "green energy."

Dorece and other Paiute Shoshone elders are defending the sacred site (Nipple Rock) and the human remains of their massacred ancestors still laying on the ground within the project area of Lithium Nevada.

Although we have non-Nevada lawyers supporting, we need more Native Legal Organizations support and other national and int’l lawyers who can assist our Ceremonial Land Defense stand, most urgently we need a lawyer licensed in Nevada to file and make appearances on behalf of the 4 protectors.

It is very likely that the exaggerated accusations listed within the 4 TROs will be substantiated and filed onto their record by default if we fail to challenge, records that could later be used to inflate future charges / civil actions pressed by Lithium America and other institutions upholding the corporations' interests.

One of the most censored issues is the fact that the U.S. Border Patrol is running drugs at the border.

Raymond Mattia, Tohono O'odham, murdered by U.S. Border Patrol agents, was outspoken about this. Ten years ago, Raymond told me that he had videotaped U.S. Border Patrol agents locally working with the cartels and drug running. When he submitted this video evidence as a complaint, the video disappeared.

On the night he was murdered by the U.S. Border Patrol, at his home on the western side of the Tohono O'odham Nation, Raymond was on the phone with his sister when the Border Patrol agents arrived. He said he would go outside and talk to them.

They murdered Raymond as he came out the door, on his front steps. Three officers fired their weapons. They told the family at the scene that they shot him 38 times. The Border Patrol left Raymond there for seven hours. The Border Patrol has not released its body cam footage.
