Western Shoshone Carl Bad Bear Sampson is on the Walk for the Salmon, Seattle to San Francisco.
"We did 60 miles today, walking and running in groups," Bad Bear said after they passed alongside the Rogue River, Siskiyou National Forest, on Oregon's coastline.
