Walking Beyond Capitalism, Wendsler Nosie Journeys to Federal Court in Phoenix

"Apache Stronghold Completes Day 2 of the Spiritual Journey to Protect Oak Flat
On Day 2 of this sacred journey, we come together to send our prayers for the three court cases dedicated to saving Oak Flat. United in our shared goal, we stand against the injustices we all face. We find ourselves in a battle to protect Mother Earth and all that Creator/God has brought into existence. This is a spiritual war as much as it is a physical one, requiring each of us to recognize our duty to protect the people of this land and our planet.
We must unite in One Drum, One Prayer, One Circle. A’hi’ye (thank you) for the love, prayers, and support pouring in from across the country. As we embark on Day 3 in the morning, we will continue our ceremony, honoring the prayers of those who have gone before us, those present today, and those yet to come." -- Apache Stronghold, Jan. 6, 2026

"This morning is Day 2 of the Spiritual Journey to Save Oak Flat as we run and walk feeling Mother Earth with every step. We ask for continued prayers as we face this evil in this world that is meant to destroy us all. Thank you all for lighting a fire or candle as sending prayers. Please continue to watch our social media as will we’ll continue to give updates. Blessing to everyone." -- Apache Stronghold.

Apache Stronghold: "We ended Day 1 of the Spiritual Journey from Chi’chil Biłdagoteel (Oak Flat) to Sandra Day O’Connor. We thank all those who came and supported us physically and in prayer. We took every step with intention and prayer, as we face this evil in this world that chooses to destroy the greatest gift Creator/God has created the Earth. We will continue tomorrow Day 2 tomorrow at 6 am in the morning and with every breath we take to defend Oak Flat and Mother Earth."

Dine'/Zuni Pueblo journalist Marley Shebala, 73, screamed in pain as she was violently arrested by police. Marley had filed an ethics complaint against Navajo President Buu Nygren, and was reporting on the ongoing corruption in the Navajo tribal government. "I am 73 years old, and they have me handcuffed in my home with my daughter, our Navajo police, to serve and protect" Marley says, as she continues to livestream. Navajo police used a locksmith to enter her home. Marley, who has reported from her homeland, the Navajo Nation, for 40 years, was then jailed. https://bsnorrell.blogspot.com/2025/10/navajo-reporter-marley-shebala.html

Dakota Access Pipeline: A Snake in the Water

"We are Tatáŋka Íyotake’s Oyate — 'Sitting Bull’s People,' therefore our fight and resistance must continue for our future generations because we cannot drink oil." -- Standing Rock Nation

The New York Times is quick to publish a story on the latest ruling on the Dakota Access Pipeline, claiming it is a critical energy need -- but failed to report on the excessive force lawsuits filed against law enforcement by Marcus Mitchell and Sophia Wilansky. Both were critically injured at Standing Rock defending the water from the pipeline. Their cases were heard by the federal appeals court this week.

The New York Times is now known around the world for its failed reporting and bias which enabled the genocide in Palestine.
