A nearly two-mile line of vehicles shut down five Dakota Access Pipeline work sites peacefully -- with no police altercations Monday.

Yesterday October 3, 2016, a caravan of 111 cars and 500 people strong rolled out from Standing Rock Encampment on a Toxic Tour of the Dakota Access Pipeline. Construction at work sites along the pipeline was stopped in the continued protection of sacred waters.
The sheer presence and mass numbers of indigenous warriors and water protectors on the caravan succeeded in stopping work on DPAL.#BlackSnakeKillas will win the day with these actions. We are warriors. We are fierce. We will not stop until the Black Snake is dead.
A victory was won in the fight for clean water for the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and all nations who rely on this river. Yesterday we counted coup on the enemy and we collectively and effectively shut down 5 DAPL construction work sites; the DAPL workers and equipment were sent home costing not only the Dakota Access Pipeline thousands upon thousand of dollars but the investors and share holders as well.

NEW YORK -- LaDonna Brave Bull Allard, Lakota of Standing Rock, urged the United Nations to immediately halt the Dakota Access Pipeline and demanded immediate assistance for Dakota, Lakota and Nakota. Allard addressed the U.N. General Assembly during a briefing today on Indigenous Issues.
Allard began her address by stressing the need for consultation and described how it is vital for the well being of Indigenous Nations.
Allard said the Dakota Access Pipeline is flagrantly violating the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, the Fort Laramie Treaty of 1868, unresolved Indian Land Claims and most important of our Mother Earth.
The people of Standing Rock are invoking the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, and other U.N. laws, to halt this pipeline.
“We are requesting that an observer and a media team be sent immediately and permanently to Standing Rock.”
Allard denounced the ongoing terrorism against Indigenous People by the TransNational corporations at Standing Rock, in the Amazon and elsewhere.
She said Indigenous Peoples are protecting life on earth and clean water for future generations, so that all life can continue to exist. Indigenous traditional knowledge is the only path remaining that can heal the ongoing destruction of consumption.
Without traditional Indigenous knowledge, the path will be one of destruction.
She urged unity to protect the water, and demanded that the United Nations intervene and immediately stop the Dakota Access Pipeline.
"We must unite to protect the water and our Mother Earth."
Watch the video above, and read statement below, for her full comments.

Ladonna Bravebull Allard:
Greetings distinguished representatives,
I greet you with a good heart today. I am Ta Maka Waste Win, an enrolled member of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe I am speaking regarding the participation of the over 300 million Indigenous Peoples of Unci Maka Mother Earth. Within the United Nations system, we the Indigenous peoples request that our participation be granted at the highest possible level and that our representatives be legitimate and elected by Indigenous Nations and organizations in each region. This will secure that our participation and contributions on issues that affect us are addressed in a legitimate manner. Lack of this legitimate representation and contributions on issues that affect us are resulting in violations of our equal and inalienable rights as members of the human family. As such is the current and urgent situation of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, my home, where the Dakota Access Pipeline has blatantly violated the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the United Nations Declaration on the rights of Indigenous Peoples, ILO 169, the Laramie Treaty of 1868, unresolved Ihunktonwana Land Claim Docket 74A and most importantly our Mother Earth.
The organization hereby invokes the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the United Nations Declaration on the rights of Indigenous Peoples, ILO 169 to be enforced and brought to life to put an immediate stop to the Dakota Access Pipeline. We request that an observer and media team be sent immediately and permanently to Standing Rock until this issue is resolved to protect the water. This situation with Dakota Access has been going on for 6 months now. It has endured Spring, Summer, Fall and heads into Winter as we protect and defend our right to water. We demand immediate assistance and protection for our Lakota, Dakota, and Nakota sisters and brothers. Today we are here to formally denounce terrorism from transnationals agaisnt Indigenous Peoples of Mother Earth, as such is our situation in Standing Rock and also the urgent situation of our Indigenous sisters and brothers in the Amazon and many other parts of the world.
The organization remains committed to solving the challenges faced by our generation which is to protect life and clean water for the future generations and so that all that exists can continue to exist. The Indigenous Traditional Knowledge is the only path remaining to heal the unsustainable pattern of production and consumption that is destroying our lives and the world around us. Agenda 2030, without our legitimate representatives and inclusion of Indigenous Peoples Traditional Knowledge will fail.  Our knowledge can help heal Mother Earth. Without it, great and irreparable damage will lead us to destruction. We must unite to protect the Water and our Mother Earth. We, the Indigenous Peoples of Mother Earth walk to the future in the footprints of our ancestors.

Mohawk Nation News 'Onondaga 15 Counting Coup'

“ONONDAGA 15” COUNTING COUP

mnnlogo1

Please post & distribute.
MNN. Oct. 2, 2016. In the Syracuse Federal Court the “onondaga15” threw in the towel on the “its-no-use” trial. They closed the case before DA Mulvey started his defense of the NYS “I-81 INDIAN Detail”. Judge Frederick Scullin wouldn’t allow most of the evidence against them into the case. The plaintiffs/victims decided to bring this absurdity to an end and to let the jury decide. Sumnations and jury deliberations start on October. 4, 2016.dr_ryan_ocad_news_photo
The pro se plaintiffs found themselves in enemy territory. It was time to touch the enemy and pull back. No one was killed. The judge, jury, cops and District Attorney saw bravery and skill without being physically harmed.
Counting coup is winning prestige against an enemy. A blow struck against the enemy, touching them with the hand, bow, or coup stick, escaping unharmed and stealing an enemy’s weapons are coups. Risk of injury or death is counted as a coup.
There more of them INDIAN Detail marching up the road.
Get ready! There are more of them INDIAN Detail marching up the road.
They will be touched again. onkwe’hon:weh, the original people of the land, have a memory of the attack against their men, women, children and babies on May 18, 1997 at the ceremonial gathering in onondaga. Reminding them is better then killing them.
New York State protected its onondaga traitors that collaborated with the INDIAN Detail. The plaintiffs do not fear them. They will never give in, the war is not over until kaia’nere:kowa wins!.
TWO FOR ONE COUPS.
Three-for-one bargain coup.
The onondaga15 entered the Admiralty court and found it is not about truth, honor, justice or human rights. It’s about the corporation and money. The Judge shows that onkwe’hon:weh can’t get a fair trial in the US court system. It opens the road to the world court in The Hague at the Peace Palace. Thahohoketoteh

Four Directions All Nations March Denver 2016

American Indian Movement of Colorado and Transform Columbus Day Alliance Call on Denver Communities to Mobilize for Indigenous Liberation and Solidarity with Standing Rock

AMERICAN INDIAN MOVEMENT OF COLORADO and TRANSFORM COLUMBUS DAY ALLIANCE ANNOUNCE THE FOUR DIRECTIONS ALL NATIONS MARCH & RALLY IN HONOR OF TROYLYNN STAR YELLOW WOOD

From Standing Rock to Bear Butte, Devils Tower, Oak Flat, Black Mesa, the San Francisco Peaks, Desert Rock, Tar Sands, Mauna Kea, and hundreds of other locations of spiritual significance, life and death struggles of the original nations and peoples within territories presently called the Americas continue in 2016. The racist idea-system of domination, exploitation and environmental degradation in the name of infinite greed was established through the Christian Doctrine of Discovery, carried on through the arrival of Christopher Columbus after he sailed his ships into the waters and territories of original nations and peoples. The celebration of the Columbus Day Holiday is a symptom of the imagined belief that invaders of these continents, primarily European colonists, inherited a divine right to coerce obedience and politically disenfranchise the ancient and sophisticated societies that were born of Great Turtle Island ("North America") and Abya Yala ("the Americas"). The oppressive legacy of Columbus extends to the descendants of African slaves whose ancestors were terrorized, captured, raped and stolen from their homelands to be bought and sold as property. Christopher Columbus personally established and profited from the Transatlantic Slave Trade, and we see the root cause of ongoing oppression of our Black sisters and brothers in the United States as a direct consequence of the intersecting injustices embedded in the idea-system of the Doctrine of Discovery and Domination.

This year, the American Indian Movement of Colorado and Transform Columbus Day Alliance honor Representative Joe Salazar for authoring, sponsoring and ushering in HB 16-1135 to change the name of the Columbus Day Holiday in Colorado to Indigenous Peoples Day. His consciousness of our Peoples' history and marginalization is heroic. We are also grateful to both Representative Su Ryden and Representative Susan Lontine for supporting the bill to make Columbus Day obsolete; our communities honor their collective stance of courage in the face of racism.

We call on our non-Native allies to march with us this year, and to come out in support of future legislation to repeal the Columbus Day Holiday, as well as to further their involvement and learn about all the contemporary, complex movements of Nonviolent Indigenous Resistance seeking to create vital change for all our relations.

Yesterday members of the American Indian Movement of Central Texas, local descendants of indigenous tribes, and citizens long involved in the Trans-Pecos Pipeline struggle marched against the Trans-Pecos Pipeline and the Dakota Access Pipeline in North Dakota, in solidarity with the Standing Rock Sioux.
About a hundred marched the three and a half miles from the center of Alpine to the pipeline crossing of 1703, rallying briefly at the gates of the Pumpco office / utility yard where AIM members waved their flags in broad gestures of disapproval. At the crossing, the group massed around the west side of the road where a stepped gapping hole has been prepared for the tunneling beneath the road. This movement is about more than a single pipeline. It's about respecting the natural world and protecting our water and land for future generations. @standingwithstandingrock #nodapl#waterislife #notranspecospipeline #standwithbigbend #thankyou American Indian Movement Of Central Texas
