The extraordinary speakers today at Bioneers included author Terry Tempest Williams, who spoke passionately of her homeland Utah and what has happened to Bear Ears and the Navajo land at Aneth, Utah, invaded and eroded by oil and gas drillers.
Williams also spoke of the Mormons who told her as a child that women and Natives have no right to speak. Today, Williams spoke out. She spoke out about a heartbeat at home, in the red rock canyonlands of Utah.

Arizona/Sonora Border -- The U.S. government is preparing to spend another million dollars now to prosecute Scott Warren for a second time, for helping migrants in Arizona. Meanwhile, using a $100 power saw, people are sawing through Trump's new "impenetrable" border wall.
And an eight-year old scaled a mock model of the border wall in seconds.
The deaths in migrant concentration camps and border detention by U.S. Border Patrol and ICE continue, as the U.S. clearly has no regard for human life. In a crime of genocide, the Trump administration continues to separate migrant children from their parents and imprison them.
The lives of endangered species are now being destroyed by border wall construction and migration paths blocked.
No More Deaths said, "Next Tuesday, November 12th, No More Deaths volunteers will walk into federal court once more to witness our friend and comrade, Dr. Scott Warren, be tried on felony harboring charges for providing two men from Central America with food, water, clothing and beds. Sonoran Pronghorn's migration path is between Arizona and Sonora, Mexico, and is being blocked by the border wall. Land at Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge has been given to the U.S. military. Already, the Pronghorn were being bombed at Goldwater Bombing Range.
There are only a few of these shy cats remaining on the Arizona border. Their remote migration path and habitat now bombarded by Trump's illegal border wall construction.
The endangered pupfish and the sacred spring at Organ Pipe National Monument are now in peril as border wall construction continues, eliminating all laws protecting the water, land, endangered species and Native American sacred places.

SAN RAFAEL, Calif. -- Ponca Casy Camp-Horinek spoke on the Rights of Nature, enacted as law by the Ponca Nation in Oklahoma, at the Bioneers Conference think tank. Describing the decades of rape, murder and oppression, she also honored Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women. Remembering the Ponca women who were raped and murdered by the Calvary, she said this is the same mentality of today's oil and gas industry man camps.

SANTA FE, NM - The U.S. House of Representatives has passed the Chaco Cultural Heritage Area Protection Act (H.R. 2181), a move hailed by the Greater Chaco Coalition.
