Indigenous Women Join Freedom Flotilla to Deliver Aid to Gaza

The International Indigenous Youth Council announced today solidarity with two Indigenous women from Turtle Island joining  the Freedom Flotilla bringing aid to Gaza.

Indigenous women joined the flotilla bringing humanitarian aid to Gaza, where the horror of starvation and genocide is ongoing. The flotilla boats were hit twice by explosives during drone attacks in Tunisia.

The Global Sumud Flotilla set sail today from Italy, Tunisia and Greece to unite in International waters, the flotilla said Sunday morning, at noon New York time. Boats from Spain had already set sail, among 44 countries sending delegations and boats from around the world.

Dr. Suzanne Shoush, St'atl'imx/Sudanese, and Mskwaasin Agnew, Cree/Dene Salt River First Nation, are joining the Freedom Flotilla Coalition Women's boat to Break the Siege on Gaza.

MNN. THE PRETEND PEOPLE. Sep. 16, 2025. The pretend indians were called ‘apples’, red on the ouside and white on the inside. Now we are surrounded by 400 million non-indigenous strangers on turtle island who are under the illusion that they own this land. When the pretend people created by Artificial Intelligence AI start to replace the workers speaking AI, we will be hearing non human language. Most will leave and take their non-turtle island languages with them. Those few left behind will speak a new language made up by their AI machines until they leave or fluently speak one of our indigenous languages. As they will be the minority on turtle island AI will speak for them or we can turn them off. Then what? Their old regular brains will be useless and will be put away. They don ‘t know how to act without command. They won’t have any power here as creation intended. Eventually their imported languages will totally disappear. We will never have to hear their blasphemy which has maimed us and our mother.

Dr. Suzanne Shoush, St'atl'imx/Sudanese, sends this message now from the Mediterranean, aboard the Freedom Flotilla Coalition's Canadian Boat to Gaza.

"We are here to support global efforts to break the siege on Gaza now. I have joined this Coalition as an act of global Indigenous solidarity," Dr. Shoush said.

"I know my mother's ancestors did not survive settler colonialism, colonial erasure, forced displacement, mass starvation and genocide in order for me to remain silent. Break the Siege, Free Palestine."

MNN. TRICK OR TREATY. SEP. 12. 2025. This could be a halloween story. We all want to be diverted, scared, fooled and given a few trinkets to help us forget what was done to us. The truth is we were invaded and we have to hang on to what is ours, which is everything. The “trick or treaters” wear masks to cover up their dreadful stories and actions they did to us.  They came here with a mask which was two faces and two tongues. They never removed their mask but we always knew what was under it, their deceitful murderous ways, which we are now exposing. They came from Europe with outsized ambitions and outrageous excessive wants. They believed their big mouthed rulers who told them, “Here’s a permit. Just go there, kill the Indians, bury them and then build your town or home over their bodies so no one will ever find them.
