Indigenous join defense of forest in Atlanta following police shooting of Tortuguita

"The morning of Jan. 18, the same multi-jurisdictional task force, including Georgia State Patrol SWAT teams, gathered outside Weelaunee before entering the woods to confront tree sitters and protesters. A forest defender who was in the woods on the morning of the raid recounted their experience with Unicorn Riot on the condition of anonymity." Tortuguita was shot at least 13 times, the family said.
