Appeals Court Blocks Trump’s Border Wall in National Emergency Challenge

The Appeals Court decision includes halting Trump's priority plan for a border wall at Organ Pipe National Monument, near the western side of the Tohono Oodham Nation, on the Arizona border

SAN FRANCISCO — A federal appeals court today denied the government’s attempt to begin construction of President Trump’s border wall using funds unauthorized by Congress. The ruling upholds an earlier district court order that blocks the administration from building wall sections along the southern border in New Mexico and Arizona using illegally diverted military funds.

What if there had never been a Snowden or Wikileaks, or any of the whistleblowers?

I would have never known that Google, Facebook, my android phone and the others are all part of the massive spy network of the U.S., U.K. and others. I would have never known to cover my phone and computer camera lens with colored tape, and to take the battery out of my phone at times -- because it is a tracker, and can be turned on remotely as a listening and viewing device.

SHUT THEM DOWN!

Witnessing the brutality of child detention, the reality of concentration camps of immigrant/migrant communities shocks and paralyzes. Do not look away from what is happening.  As Native American/Indian people we know the lasting trauma state separation carries as many of our parents are survivors of forced separations into boarding schools and residential schools that ripped Indian children from their families placing them in facilities like Carlisle Indian School, PA, in order to “kill the Indian, and save the man.” The wide ranges of abuses continue to be uncovered with wounds that were never fully reconciled and healed. https://boardingschoolhealing.org/

Reports of deteriorating conditions comparing these child detention facilities to “torture facilities” continue to emerge.https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/doctor-compares-conditions-immigrant-holding-centers-torture-facilities/story?id=63879031

To see such cruel depravity and feel hopeless is the goal. We have a responsibility to stop their detention.  The world has an urgent responsibility and moral obligation to act, to PROTECT them!

Demand the government shut these facilities down! Organize!

Divest Geo Group and CoreCivic for human rights violations of immigrant children, people, and families! Business cannot go on as usual when children are being viciously abused!
