We are thankful the Prayer Riders made it to Pyramid Lake. It was a good evening of visiting, song and prayer. Thanks to all that came to greet them, brought food. Thanks to Dean Barlese for the prayer and song. Thanks to Billie Jean Guerrero and the Museum for being gracious hosts. Thanks to Charlene Dressler for coordinating. They will be here until they leave on Wednesday morning. #PrayerRide2022

Paiute Shoshone Journalist Myron Dewey was killed when a truck pulled into his lane on an isolated dirt road near his family's home in Yomba, Nevada. The previous day, Myron live-streamed from the Fallon Bombing Range used by Navy Seals. Myron warned of the lithium mining now targeting the Paiute Massacre Site at Thacker Pass.
Myron documented the private security and militarized law enforcement at Standing Rock in 2016 and 2017. Mryon's photography and videos from drone surveillance were important evidence that could have been used in the ongoing lawsuits by Water Protectors critically injured while defending the water at Standing Rock.
