In 1933 Heinrich Krieger was a German exchange student studying at the University of Arkansas.  In March of 1935, The George Washington Law Review published Heinrich’s dissertation called, Principles of the Indian Law and the Act of June 18,1934.

The Wheeler-Howard Act of 1934 was also known as the Indian Reorganization Act.  Heinrich wrote, “The Act differs from the original Wheeler-Howard Bill in several respects, especially in the omission of provisions, ‘to promote the more effective administration of justice in matters affecting Indian tribes and communities by establishing a federal court of Indian affairs.’”

I recently read this chief's speech about George Washington and something just didn't seem right. It was published in Vol. 4 of Trail Ride Magazine under the title "When God Goes to War". I write this open letter to the author and editor of the magazine, Dr. Elliot Johnson,  after  reading the following chief's speech:

 " I am Chief, and ruler over my tribes. My influence extends to the waters of the great lakes, and to the far blue mountains. I have traveled a long and weary path, that I might see the young warrior (George Washington, from the day he had horses shot out from underneath him) of the Great Battle. It was on the day when the white man's blood mixed with the streams of our forest, that I first beheld this chief. I called to my young men and said, 'Mark you tall and daring warrior? He is not of the redcoat tribe---he hath an Indian's wisdom, and his warriors fight as we do---himself is alone exposed. Quick, let your aim be certain, and he dies. Our rifles were leveled, rifles which, but for him, knew not how to miss--'twas all in vain, a power mightier far than we, shielded him from harm. He cannot die in battle. I am old, and soon shall be gathered to the great council fire of my fathers in the land of shades, but ere I go, there is something bids me speak in the voice of prophecy. Listen! The Great Spirit protects that man, and guides his destinies---he will become the chief of nations, and a people yet unborn will hail him as the founder of a mighty empire."

I emailed this speech to the Fred W. Smith National Library for the Study of George Washington and this was their reply: "This speech has proven to likely be a myth or legend. There is no solid proof of where the origins of that speech came from. It is published in some books, but without any citations, it is not able to be proven really one way or the other."

It is good to hear that you will be more selective in using stories that "cannot be verified". I was sure that the chief's speech was not true because Washington would have wrote about  it somewhere in his correspondence. They say that if something seems too good to be true, it probably isn't. I enjoy reading good books on history because good history writers are concerned with teaching history--- and they do that by using footnotes. Sometimes I will go to the bibliography before I read the book because I want to know that what I am reading is true.  The writings of Washington are easily verified because all of his writings are found listed in chronological order in the Library of Congress and the National Archives. All you need is the date, sender and recipient and you can get an actual copy of his letters.

Have you been keeping up with what happened up in Charlottesville, Virginia? The white supremacists, neo-Nazis and the Ku Klux Klan marched  and violence broke out between them and people who opposed these hate groups. When our president missed the opportunity to stand with those who oppose hate, former President Obama quoted Nelson Mandela  on Twitter, "No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion…People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love…For love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite." 

Dr. Johnson,  did you know that there are those out there teaching hatred of Indians? And did you know that they are using the Bible to do it? They are teaching that the cowboys are the Chosen People and that the Indians are the Canaanites. I know that is hard to believe but they are also teaching that America is the cowboy's Promised Land---never mind that the Promised Land had boundaries.  I say this because I notice that on every other page of your magazine, you have written at the bottom of the page, the slogan, "A Cowboy's Journey Into the Promised Land" and I hope you don't literally believe that.

 God said of the southern border of the Promised Land, "I will establish your borders from the Red Sea…Exodus 23:31". In Numbers 34:6 he said, "Your western boundary will be the coast of the Great Sea…(the Mediterranean). In Genesis 15:18 God , spoke of both the southern and northern boundaries saying, " that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram and said, 'to your descendants I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates.'" In Numbers 34:10-12 the Lord said to Moses, "For your eastern boundary, run a line from Hazar Enan to Shepham. The boundary will go down from Shephan to Riblah on the east side of Ain and continue along the slopes east of the Sea of Kinnereth. Then the boundary will go down along the Jordan and end at the Salt Sea (the Sea of Kinnereth is now known as the Sea of Galilee and the Salt Sea is now known as the Dead Sea).

As Christians, we must use these teachable moments to proclaim God's truths. In the Old Testament, when God judged the Canaanites, this was prophecy of how God will judge nations and peoples--- men women and children when He comes again. It is God who judges, not men. Until God's judgment of the world as found in Revelation 16, we are living in the age of grace.  In this age, there are no Canaanites to be judged, only lost people to be evangelized. The Lord Jesus Christ specifically gave the church these instructions as found in Matthew 28:19&20, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely I will be with you always, to the very end of the age." This is called The Great Commission given to the Christians and it should be noted that it does not say anything about driving anyone out and seizing their land.

Jesus also said in John 3:17, "For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.

Concerning the Chosen People, in Revelation 7:4 God is still dealing with the Jewish people, "Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel."

Unfortunately, anyone who teaches that the American Indians should have been exterminated as God commanded the Canaanites to be, is teaching a twisted interpretation of the Bible which amounts to white supremacy and nullifies the Great Commission.  As a matter of fact, this false teaching is so embedded in American history that Adolph Hitler used it to justify the genocide of the Jews during world war II. He said, speaking of the Jews and the Slavs, "The natives will be our Redskins".

As Nelson Mandela said, "No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion…People must learn to hate …".  Hitler learned well, but he learned well from the Jezebel nature of American history where land theft and murder were legalized. The world witnessed justice being stood on its head at Standing Rock where a people who have lived on the land for thousands of years and who had a treaty with the United States were treated as trespassers. The sad thing is that it could all be traced back to the false teachers and their perversion of the Bible.

A funny thing happened on the way to the latest government scam.   It seems that when the Western Shoshone were asked to contribute their ideas on how to distribute the money the government wanted to "give"  through the Indian Claims Commission judgment, they threw a monkey wrench into the whole operation.  

 Carrie Dann went to the United Nations about the Treaty of Ruby Valley of 1863 and got a response that the United States should, "freeze", "desist" and "stop" all actions against the Western Shoshone. Invariably, since the formation of the Indian Claims Commission there continue to be Indians who are apprehensive of white men bearing gifts. They would warn in the tribal meetings, "If you take the money, you are selling the land". The BIA representative present would respond, "If you take the money, you are not selling the land". Here you have a government authority, who is supposedly our trustee, who is supposedly looking after our interests, telling the people, "Take the money, you are not selling the land".
If they were not selling the land by taking the money, the tribe thought, then the government should not have a problem having the clause inserted into the Western Shoshone Claims Distribution Act: "Receipt of a share of the funds under this subsection shall not alter any treaty rights or the final decisions of the Federal courts regarding those rights pursuant to the 1863 Treaty of Ruby Valley."

An open letter to Carrie Dann,

My family and I certainly enjoyed our recent visit with you and your family in Crescent Valley this past December. You are such an inspiration to us that we just had to come and see you. We are aware that for coming generations and for all eternity our people will be able to look back at your life and say, "This is how they criminalized our people and this is how genocide happened. It was not war. It was the deliberate and systematic destruction of a people-- genocide".

The exhibit at the University of Nevada in Reno is very powerful. They have the video, American Outrage playing constantly. All of our people, especially our youth should see this exhibit, if only for the ambiance of seeing your story portrayed as art, history and law in an institution of higher learning.  

It was amazing to see one of the bills the government sends you each year. The one for the amount for $5,044,253.23 was dated April 26, 2005. The title of the exhibit, "WHOSE LAND IS IT?" really states the great American dilemma at the heart of the matter. Perhaps you should personally send the government a bill for that same amount which would accrue interest until they address the Treaty of Ruby Valley of 1863. The elephants in every American courtroom are the hundreds of treaties which were made with the Indians and which they continue to ignore. It was interesting to hear you say that you didn't think you were trying to sue the government for the last thirty years, you were just trying to get your treaty enforced.

I was able to order a copy of the five million, forty four thousand, two hundred and fifty three dollar bill from the University of Nevada Special Collections Department and plan to enlarge it into poster size. I believe it perfectly illustrates the colonizers criminalizing the landowners.  Another good title for the exhibit would be, "Are Treaties the Supreme Law of the Land?"   In your trek through the U.S. court system , you kept hearing, "The Indian Claims Commission determined this, and the Indian Claims Commission found that".  What I would like to know is, how is a panel of cowboys deciding the fate of the Indians, due process of law?

Thank you for everything and most of all for saying that you will never accept any of their blood money.

It is interesting to note that the Pope’s children, Cesare and Lucrezia were present at the Vatican orgy.

As strange as it may seem, Rodigo Borgia (Pope Alexander Vl) is not remembered for his debauchery or incest but for issuing a bull (a decree from the Pope) which drew a line from the north pole to the south pole which gave most of the Americas to Spain and a slice of Brazil to Portugal.

The licentiousness of Rodrigo Borgia was well known at the time. As a Cardinal, he received a reprimand from Pope Pius II, written in his own hand in June of 1460.

Many people in this country believe that America was founded a “Christian Nation” but no one can disagree that there was nothing “Christian” about Pope Alexander VI.

From the genocide that Columbus committed on the natives on the island of Haiti to the government’s refusal to honor treaties with the Indians, it is all traced back to this licentious, incestuous, pervert, Pope Alexander VI.  As we shall see, all history since Christ is filled with men who profess to be Christians when they are not.  It is the Catholic Church that is most responsible for the hijacking of Christianity. Spaniard, Rodrigo Borgia’s papal Bull ‘Inter Caetera” issued May 4, 1493, was the basis for the Doctrine of Discovery which is written into American law. Black’s Law Dictionary defines “Discovery” as, “The foundation for a claim of national ownership or sovereignty, discovery is the finding of a country, continent, or island previously unknown, or previously known only to its uncivilized inhabitants.

That a  Spanish Pope could give the Americas away to Spain and Portugal is land theft on a Continental  scale. To criminalize the landowners and to bestow blessings on the thieves is deeply Satanic.

Today, Pope Francis’s addressed a joint session of the United States Congress. Speaking of Americas’ historic wrongs to the Indigenous people shows that Pope Francis in no more a Christian than was  Pope Alexander VI.  He said, “Tragically, the rights of those who were here long before us were not always respected.  For those peoples and their nations, from the heart of American democracy, I wish to reaffirm my highest esteem and appreciation. Those first contacts were often turbulent and violent, but it is difficult to judge the past by the criteria of the present.” 

The Anti-Christ is someone who opposes or takes the place of Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church does exactly that!  If the Holy Spirit was in either of these men then they would know that the “criteria” of the Bible never changes. Right and wrong never change. Stolen property should be returned. It’s the rule of law. Treaties should be enforced. It’s the law. Unjust laws should be condemned. It is the righteous thing to do.

HOUSTON -- The American Indian Genocide Museum and the Southern Apache Museum met today with the Buffalo Soldiers National Museum’s founder, Capt. Paul Matthews.  This historic meeting was moderated by Mr. Peter N. Berkowitz and Mr. Ian Hancock of the Texas Holocaust and Genocide Commission.  

The native people expressed their great displeasure with the Buffalo Soldier Museum representatives referring to our ancestors with the term “hostile” because that was a designation given to all Indians who “rejected reservation life." 

Capt. Matthews was shown a picture of a Ku Klux Klan parade in the nation’s capital in 1939 which showed thousands of hooded Klansmen marching down Pennsylvania Ave.  He was asked if people dressed like that, marching down the street would bother him.  His reply was , “I don’t mind, it’s a free country."

When Capt. Matthews  stated that the Buffalo Soldiers chased robbers, thieves and Mexican bandits, he was asked on whose land they were on when they did that, he had no answer.  When Capt. Matthews told how the Buffalo Soldiers also strung telegraph lines, laid railroads, and guarded stage coaches, he was told that that was a lie.  “We didn’t string telegraph lines? How is that a lie?” He was told that it was a lie because it was a half-truth.  He was told that in order to be truthful, he should say, “The Buffalo Soldiers strung telegraph lines on Indian land. They laid railroad tracks on Indian land and that they guarded stage coaches on Indian land.”

The meeting was productive as far as the Buffalo Soldiers  Museum no longer using the term “hostile” or any other inflammatory words when referring to the Indians, especially in the classrooms.  Also, Capt. Matthews offered to allow the Indians to put up a display in the Buffalo Soldiers Museum  to teach  their side of history and for both sides to find common ground that would teach co- existence and tolerance.
