Cheyenne River Sioux Chairman Harold Frazier calls on Pipe Carriers and Sun Dancers to Come and Pray

Cheyenne River Lakota Chairman Harold Frazier at the Cheyenne River Camp on the Cannon Ball River. Chairman Frazier reflects on the defense of sacred water, his meeting with President Obama, and the need now for a place for prayer.
The Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe has been involved since the first camp at Sacred Stone in April. Recently, the motion in court for a temporary restraining order for construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline was denied.
"Through all the travels, I realized that all we have is each other."
Reflecting on the election of President Trump, he says he realizes now, more than ever, that "it is really going to get tough."
"Sometimes all we have is prayer."
He says that the people realize that they need this camp, as a place to pray, to "pray for the future of our children, and our grandchildren."
A hearing is coming up on Feb. 27 for a preliminary injunction to halt the pipeline. He asks for a gathering of prayer, prayers for the judge to make a good decision and stops the pipeline.
"I'm asking for all Pipe Carriers, and Sun Dancers, to come to this camp and pray."
Frazier said if the people pray in unity, whether the prayers are here, or all over the world, miracles can happen.
"Miracles can happen with prayer."
"It has been a pretty hard struggle. The odds are really stacked against us."
The first draft of the environmental assessment showed there were many environmental concerns. The Army Corps of Engineers was asked to slow down, "because of our water rights, our Treaty rights."
When the Army Corps approved the environmental assessment, claiming that the pipeline would not have any environmental impact, the Army Corps did not respond to the concerns of the Interior Department, he said.
Frazier said this shows that "the federal government does not care about Treaty rights."
"We know what is at stake, that this water is life, we have to do what we can to protect it. We need to be here, on the ground, to show them, that we are not going to stand for it."
Frazier said the water protectors have been hurt, scarred for life, and many have felonies.
"We need to thank them. We need to thank them for standing up for us."
Frazier said the water protectors should be honored.
Referring to Oceti Sakowin Camp nearby, Chairman Frazier said, "The camp right over that hill was a symbol of defiance."
"I'm proud of that."
Now, as the snow melts, and water protectors chip away ice and frozen snow, and sort out donated items at Oceti Sakowin to be taken to other locations with needs, Chairman Frazier said he has asked for a two week delay of the Feb. 22 eviction deadline for Oceti Sakowin Camp, so the cleaning can be completed.

MINNEAPOLIS -- The American Indian Movement’s Clyde Bellecourt refused to be silenced and demanded to know if Bernie Sanders would honor American Indian Treaties if elected President of the United States, during a Forum sponsored by Neighborhoods Organizing for Change and Black Lives Matter.

Bellcourt was adamant that he was "tried of the bullshit," by US presidential candidates Bernie, Hillary and Trump.
Refusing to be silenced during the Forum, Bellecourt asked Bernie Sanders, “I want to know if you are going to honor those Treaties? If you become President of the United States, are you going to honor the Treaties made with Native people?”
US Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders responded, “Native American people have gotten a terrible deal from the government. I will do everything that I can to redress that.”
Bellecourt countered: “You still have not answered the question.”

Clyde Bellecourt, ‘Thunder Before the Storm,’ founder of the American Indian Movement begins his comments at the Forum with words in his own language, Anishinabe.
Bellecourt said when he was born 79 years ago, he was forbidden to speak his language, pray, sing and dance, by the US government, in collusion with the churches.
“They have taken everything but our dignity, and our pride.”
“The Indian people were totally forgotten, like we didn’t exist anymore.”
“They thought John Wayne got all of us, George Armstrong Custer killed all of us. The United States government got rid all of us -- but we are still here.”
“I get angry when I hear you, and Hillary, Donald Trump and the rest of these right wingers, never saying a certain single word about what happened to the Native people of this land, this is why the Movement was formed.”
Bellecourt described the real intent of the nine and one-half month trial in St. Paul after the Occupation of Wounded Knee. The purpose was for the United States to extinguish all Native Tribes.
“We felt if we did not stand up, stand up for what is right for Indian people, we would surely perish as a people.”
It was clear. AIM knew that the US would not honor the Treaties because the US did not know anything about them.
During the Forum, the moderator attempted to silence Bellecourt. However, Bellecourt responded, “I’m tired of this bullshit.”
Bellecourt said AIM went to the United Nations for recognition because the elders asked them to, even though they were often labeled "militant," “radicals” and “terrorists.”
The Native elders knew that if they did not go to the United Nations, the US "would wipe us out."
The moderator again attempted to silence Bellecourt with the words,‘This is a Black Forum.” Bellecourt, demanding to speak, said, “This is not a Black Forum, it is for People of Color and I am one of those colors.”
Bellecourt described AIM's efforts in the Americas, Congo and South Africa, during the struggle for recognition at the United Nations, as the United States attempted extinction.
Bellecourt then posed his question to Bernie Sanders, “I want to know if you are going to honor those Treaties?”
“If you become President of the United States, are you going to honor the Treaties made with Indian people?”
Sanders responded, “Native American people have gotten a terrible deal from the federal government. I will do everything that I can to redress that. Absolutely.”
But Bellecourt countered that this was no answer.
“You still have not answered the question.”

Many people in this country believe that America was founded a “Christian Nation” but no one can disagree that there was nothing “Christian” about Pope Alexander VI.

Spaniard, Rodrigo Borgia’s papal Bull ‘Inter Caetera” issued May 4, 1493, was the basis for the Doctrine of Discovery which is written into American law. Black’s Law Dictionary defines “Discovery” as, “The foundation for a claim of national ownership or sovereignty, discovery is the finding of a country, continent, or island previously unknown, or previously known only to its uncivilized inhabitants.

That a  Spanish Pope could give the Americas away to Spain and Portugal is land theft on a Continental  scale. To criminalize the landowners and to bestow blessings on the thieves is deeply Satanic.

Today, Pope Francis’s addressed a joint session of the United States Congress. Speaking of Americas’ historic wrongs to the Indigenous people shows that Pope Francis in no more a Christian than was  Pope Alexander VI.  He said, “Tragically, the rights of those who were here long before us were not always respected.  For those peoples and their nations, from the heart of American democracy, I wish to reaffirm my highest esteem and appreciation. Those first contacts were often turbulent and violent, but it is difficult to judge the past by the criteria of the present.” 

The Anti-Christ is someone who opposes or takes the place of Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church does exactly that!  If the Holy Spirit was in either of these men then they would know that the “criteria” of the Bible never changes. Right and wrong never change. Stolen property should be returned. It’s the rule of law. Treaties should be enforced. It’s the law. Unjust laws should be condemned. It is the righteous thing to do.

Master Lee writes on July 16, 2013, "I invite the defendant Terrance Nelson as well as the plaintiff Canadian National Railway Company and the Attorney General of Manitoba to make their written submission as to costs in this matter. Written submissions should be addressed to my attention and submitted to the court no later than July 29, 2013."

on the Occasion of the United States State Department “Listening Session” in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 16 March 2010

Once again, the occupation government of the United States of America has trotted out its dogs and ponies to provide a smokescreen and diversion from its continuing crimes against the indigenous peoples and nations of the Western Hemisphere. The reason for today’s media spectacle is supposedly for the US State Department to “listen” to input from indigenous peoples and nations for inclusion in the U.S.’s report to the United Nations Human Rights Council, universal periodic review process.

As we can see, many indigenous people have been duped to participate, yet again, in a lying and duplicitous process of the United States. The United States has absolutely no interest or intention of admitting to the world its human rights record that is neither justifiable nor defensible. In particular, the record of the United States with regard to historical, and ongoing, violations of over 370 treaties that were negotiated and signed with indigenous nations must be, but will not be, addressed by the United States. Instead, as is its ongoing practice, the United States will use this session, and the one tomorrow on the territory of the Diné (Navajo) Nation, as its justification that indigenous peoples were “consulted,” and “listened to,” while the U.S. simultaneously lies to the world about its disgraceful human rights record.

The Republic of Lakotah will not legitimize this embarrassing process. Instead, we will submit our report directly to the UN Human Rights Council, not to be filtered or sanitized by the State Department. Let us be clear, our report will be scathing. The United States continues, on a daily basis to violate the terms of the 1851 and 1868 Fort Laramie Treaties with the Lakotah. Our report will indicate that the United States never intended to abide by the terms of the treaties, and has violated them consistently from the time of their signing to the present.

Our report will also cite the United States’ own language in acknowledging that “the treaties retain their full force and effect even today because they are the legal equivalent of treaties with foreign governments and have the force of federal law.” Periodic Report of the United States of America to the UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, April 23, 2007, paragraph 335. In light of the United States’ own admissions, in addition to reporting to the Human Rights Council on the egregious human rights record of the US towards indigenous peoples, the Republic of Lakotah will report to the Council and to the world, the exercise of its own rights under principles of international law. The United States has continually breached the treaties with the Lakotah, and international law allows the Lakotah to return to our status quo ante position prior to the signing of the treaties.

On March 30, 2010, the Republic of Lakotah will repeat its position to the United States, and will transmit its communication to the President of the United States and to the Secretary of State, demanding that the United States cease and desist it activities in Lakotah territory, and insisting that the United States withdraw its presence from our homeland.
