DENVER—Today, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit heard oral arguments related to the Trump administration’s illegal approval of more than 370 drilling permits in the Greater Chaco region of northwest New Mexico.

Attorneys with the Biden administration defended the Trump administration’s illegal drilling permits, even as President Biden and Interior Secretary Deb Haaland have embarked on the “Honoring Chaco Initiative,” a new collaborative process to address the need for landscape-level management reforms.

SAN XAVIER DISTRICT, TOHONO O’ODHAM NATION (2006) -- Indigenous at the Border Summit of the Americas opposed a border fence that will separate Indian communities in their ancestral territories and contribute to the Bush administration’s plan for corporate profiteering.

Without compromise, Indigenous called for a halt to the militarization, oppression and psychological terrorism created by the military-industrial complex along the US/Mexico border.

Mohawks from the northern border united with Tohono O’odham from the southern border and demanded a halt to the militarization of their lands by the US Border Patrol, National Guard and federal agents.

Mohawk Mark Maracle, representing the Women Title Holders, said Mohawks from the north are ready to support the Tohono O’odham in the south “by any means necessary.”

Polluting Coal-Fired San Juan Generating Station Shuts Down on Navajo Nation

Polluting Coal-Fired San Juan Generating Station Shuts Down on Navajo Nation

Breaking News: Another polluting coal-fired power plant on the Navajo Nation shuts down, but not before poisoning the air, water and land. While the electricity went to distant cities in the Southwest, and the Navajo government received revenues, Dineh in the region, from Shiprock to Bloomfield, New Mexico, choked on the poisonous air and suffered from widespread respiratory problems from both the coal-fired power plants, San Juan Generating Station and Four Corners power plant (whose dark plume could be seen by astronauts in space). -- Censored News.

In 2017, majority owner and operator Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) announced that the coal-fired San Juan Generating Station was too expensive to operate and that the last two of the plant’s four units would be retired in 2022, rather than operating until 2053. On-the-ground communities and advocates had long since called attention to the plant’s expense as well as its damage to health, air and our climate.

Who will hold the United States responsible for its genocide?

Who will hold the United States responsible for its genocide?

 Brenda Norrell
Censored News

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Twitter: "The United States is committed to accountability for genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity. Today, we welcome the opening of @IntlCrimCourt trial proceedings against Mahamat Said Abdel Kani, a former Séléka commander in the Central African Republic."

Now, will the International Criminal Court hold the United States accountable for genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity?

The Pope confessed to the crime of genocide of Native children in residential schools on the plane when he departed from Canada this summer.

Will the International Criminal Court hold the Catholic Church, and other churches in Canada -- and the governments of Canada, the United States, Australia, and New Zealand -- responsible for the genocide of Indigenous children in residential and boarding schools?

Will the United States be held accountable for genocide for the separation of migrant children from their families, and imprisonment of migrant children?

Who will hold Israel responsible for the torture, false imprisonment, and murder of Palestinians? The U.S. is an accessory to these crimes by funding Israel. The U.S. is also contracting Israel's surveillance and weapons producer Elbit Systems for Apartheid surveillance on the U.S. southern border.

Will the International Criminal Court hold the U.S. responsible for targeted assassinations --  without charges or trials -- using computers, drones, and missiles?

Will the United States hold the U.S. Border Patrol responsible for crimes against humanity?

Will the International Criminal Court hold the United States government responsible for the U.S. Border Patrol agents acting with impunity, stalking and terrorizing Indigenous women and the elderly, and committing the crimes of assault, serial rape, murder, and drug running.

HOUSTON -- American Indian Genocide Museum in Houston, Texas received a grant of $150,000 from Houston Endowment. It will be used for operational expenses and for an exhibit tour to educational institutions, community centers, and American Indian Nations. Ann Stern, president and CEO of Houston Endowment said, “We are proud to recognize organizations driving social justice and equity across the arts, culture, history, civic engagement, and education. “

Donald L. Vasicek, American Indian Genocide Museum board member and award-winning author and award-winning filmmaker (“The Sand Creek Massacre”), said, “We are grateful to Houston Endowment for this grant.  It will help perpetuate our work in confronting centuries-old racism in America.  It will help us challenge the ever-present threat to rid educational institutions of books that educate children about the horrific history of the indigenous people of this land.  This action is one of the numerous acts of genocide in America. It must be stopped.”

The purpose of the American Indian Genocide Museum, founded in 2003, is to bring historical truth to light through the means of education using actual documentation of events that have transpired in the near extermination, and in some cases, the total extermination of native tribes and cultures.

It is a memorial to the victims of ethnic cleansing.  Racism, discrimination, and injustice are being addressed with the purpose of promoting public awareness that these elements of genocide that existed in the past, continue to exist today.

A further purpose of the museum addresses prejudice that is generated toward native peoples through biased reporting of history.  The goal of influencing authors of school textbooks with irrefutable documentation shall be of major importance. A library and microfilm archive are available. The visual use of art, sculpture and film creates a memorable learning experience.

MNN. Sept. 24, 2022. RON-WANA-SETON [they make the people disappear in mass graves] MEMORIAL DAY.

RON-WANA-SETON MEMORIAL DAY IS GETTING CLOSER

OCTOBER 25, 1924 IS THE NINETY-EIGHTH ANNIVERSARY of the implementation by Canada of the holocaust laws known as the “Indian Lands Act” of each province. Canada gave indigenous resources to the provinces. The indigenous people were forced onto fenced-in concentration camps called “reservations”. The Indian Lands Act is a 100 years business plan to rid Canada of indigenous people so the invaders can take onowarekeh, turtle island, for free and to be rid of the original people.

On October 25th 1924 the RCMP and the military put indigenous families in fenced-in concentration camps. Today every reservation in Canada is still a concentration camp run by the band councils for the government.

Early in September, a purple haze of smoke ascended over the colonial cross on top of tekanontak (Mount-Royal), at the heart of Tiotiake (Montreal). Kanien’kehà:ka oral tradition says that smoke signals sent by their ancestors on tekanontak used to be picked up in the Adirondaks, making its way down the East Coast with surprising rapidity. Our signal today calls on people across Turtle Island to “open their minds and think how to help” so that these issues do not become white noise.

Arrests in Washington: Defenders protest secret fossil fuel dirty deal

Environmental and community leaders were arrested in a protest on Capitol Hill, calling on the Senate to reject Senator Manchin’s proposal to undermine environmental and community review and fast-track oil, gas, and coal projects. The protest came one day after Manchin formally released his proposal, which had been first announced in July. After the bill was released, it was widely criticized by civil rights and environmental justice advocates, and members of Congress.

Judge Rules that Mohawk Mothers Can Represent Themselves According to Their Own Culture.

Mohawk Mothers Statement

https://mohawknationnews.com/blog/2022/09/22/press-release-mohawk-mothers-can-speak-for-themselves/

On September 20th, 2022 at the Superior Court in Montreal, Justice Gregory Moore ruled that the Mohawk Mothers (kanien’keha:ka kahnistensera) can represent themselves, dismissing Quebec’s motion to make them get a lawyer. His judgment acknowledged that it is contrary to Mohawk culture to be represented.

The Attorney General of Quebec and the Société Québécoise des infrastructures (SQI) are leading this case to stop the Mohawk Mothers from getting an injunction to block McGill’s New Vic project. The case will be heard on October 26th.

MNN. Sept. 20, 2022. Fifty-seven inane questions were served on the Mohawk Mothers which did not concern the case of the unmarked graves and bodies of thousands of indigenous and other children. McGill University and its affiliates conducted mind control, brainwashing, and torture techniques on these children. [Quebec Superior Court 500-17-120-468-221] kahentinetha et al. v. Societe des infrastructure et al.] The Mohawk Mothers are in Quebec Superior Court demanding to know what happened to these children.

An odd turn of events is that the Attorney General of Quebec, who is supposed to be an impartial third party on behalf of all people of Quebec, is now leading the case against the Mohawk Mothers. He entered a motion to block the inclusion of evidence from the independent Special Interlocutor of Unmarked Graves that was appointed by the Canadian government to basically make sure that the case is run ethically for both sides.  Canada created this special position to help all involved parties to investigate unmarked graves throughout Canada.  The Special Interlocateur has entered the case as a Friend of the Court but cannot file evidence. We want all of the truth to be revealed.
