A Time of Monsters: Coronavirus spreads through schools, as Navajo Vice President joins Trump regime of genocide and terror

A Time of Monsters: Coronavirus spreads through schools, as Navajo Vice President joins Trump regime of genocide and terror

The Navajo Times reports that not one dime of the $714 million in federal CARES  Act virus relief funds, received 3 months ago by the Navajo Nation government, has been spent. It remains stalled in the tribal budget process.  On Friday, the Navajo Nation reported 500 Navajos have died from the coronavirus since March.

A Time of Monsters: Coronavirus is spreading rapidly through schools after Trump forced schools to re-open with the threat of the loss of funding. Navajo Vice President Myron Lizer joined the Trump campaign in support of this regime of genocide and terror.

Navajo Vice President Myron Lizer expressed his support for President Donald Trump during his speech on the second night of the Republican National Convention on Tuesday. Lizer said Trump delivered the $8 billion in CARES Act relief to Indian country.

However, Lizer did not point out that Indian country had to go to court and sue to get the CARES Act funds released, which were approved by the U.S. Congress.

Trump's Border Wall is Death to Endangered Species and Sacred Places

AJO, Arizona -- As Trump's bulldozers destroy the pristine Sonoran Desert at Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument nearby, Tohono O'odham and Arizona residents are protesting the inhumane destruction.

Ofelia Rivas, Tohono O'odham who lives on the border, told Censored News, "Beautiful day in the O'odham homeland, united group of people came to be a voice for the lands and  nature against genocidal policies of an inhumane government system attacking all life."
"The Society of these stolen lands should legally charge these inhumane crimes against this disgraceful person."
"The group will continue to be a voice for the honor of the bees, the endangered sacred animals, plants and the entire land and people," Rivas said.

All endangered species laws and all laws protecting sacred Native American places have been smashed. The border wall construction is already using a vast amount of water in the desert here for concrete.
These defenders are also protesting the Israeli spy towers now targeting the Tohono O'odham Nation. The Israeli defense contractor Elbit Systems plans to construct these spy towers and destroy sacred burial places and ceremonial places on the Tohono O'odham Nation. The tribal government approved these spy towers in March, but Gu-Vo District continues to oppose this oppression and destruction. Elbit already carries out Apartheid security in Palestine.

Ofelia Rivas is the founder of O'odham Voice against the Wall, and has spent her life battling the abuses of the U.S. Border Patrol. Ofelia lives on the border on the Tohono O'odham Nation and is a voice for human rights.

Howling Tweeter Trump removes tariff threat, after Mexico arrests migrant caravan leaders

Trump howls about agreement reached with Mexico, after Mexico arrests migrant caravan leaders in Mexico City and Sonora

By Brenda Norrell
Censored News

TUCSON -- After threatening devastating tariffs on Mexico's goods, Trump announced Friday that the US and Mexico reached an agreement. Trump said Mexico agreed to  buy large quantities of US farm produce -- a move that will be devastating for Indigenous and other farmers. Trump said Mexico agreed to take action to halt migrants from entering the United States.
The howling tweeter Trump -- making no mention of the fact that he is the descendant of migrants, and the First Lady is a migrant -- made the announcement on Friday, after two leading migrant caravan leaders were arrested in Mexico on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, Mexico's media reported, "Cristóbal Sánchez and Irineo Mujica were arbitrary detained on June 5 in Mexico City and Sonora, respectively on fabricated charges of human trafficking. Cristóbal Sánchez was detained outside his house in Xochimilco, Mexico City, at gunpoint and without a warrant by 6 men in plain-clothes that identified themselves as judicial police. In Sonoyta, Sonora, Irineo Mujica was detained by three officers in plain-clothes who handcuffed him and took him to Hermosillo, Sonora. The arrests of these Human Rights activists, just minutes apart, comes after several days of threats from Donald Trump to increase tariffs on Mexican goods, if Mexico does not take steps to detain Central American migrants and refugees who are seeking safety in the United States."

"Both Cristóbal and Irineo have been victims of harassment, criminalization and threats by different administrations of the Mexican government, including the current government of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, as well as by organized crime groups. Only in February this year, prior to a meeting with the former US former Secretary of Homeland Security Kristen Nielsen, Sánchez Cordero publicly attacked the humanitarian work of Sánchez and Mujica, leading to harassment and several death threats against them and other human rights activists." Read more

Trump, continuing his ridiculous pattern of tweeting matters of international crisis, tweeted on Saturday: "MEXICO HAS AGREED TO IMMEDIATELY BEGIN BUYING LARGE QUANTITIES OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCT FROM OUR GREAT PATRIOT FARMERS!"
CNN reports: 'A declaration amid a crisis'
The United States and Mexico signed onto a joint declaration as a result of the negotiations. The State Department said in a statement that as part of the agreement, Mexico will take "unprecedented steps" to increase enforcement to curb irregular migration, including the deployment of its National Guard throughout the country -- giving priority to Mexico's southern border.
The countries also agreed that individuals caught crossing into the US from Mexico seeking asylum will be "rapidly returned" to Mexico where they will await consideration of their asylum claims. Mexico, the declaration says, will authorize the entrance of all of those individuals. Mexico says it will offer jobs, health care and education to those people. In return, the US must expedite the asylum adjudication process...

However, the New York Times reports that much of the agreement had already been reached, before Trump's boastful screeching tweets. Mexico had already agreed to deploy its National Guard to halt migration, focusing on the southern border.

Publisher's note: Who's the coyote now?
Alternate words for 'howling,' as the Thesaurus tells me, are braying, trumpeting, cackling, screeching, and caterwauling, Since howling refers to coyotes, I've decided on howling for the headline. Then there's braggart, boaster, an exaggerator, bullshitter, blowhard, gasbag, windbag, and crowing, according to Roget's Thesaurus.
By the way, 'caterwauling' means to "make a shrill howling or wailing noise like that of a cat." And braying refers to a donkey or mule, and to speaking or laughing loudly and harshly.

Trump's Ecocide and Genocide: Killing Life at the Border, Killing Children in Death Camps

Trump's Ecocide and Genocide: Killing Life at the Border, Killing Children in Death Camps

By Brenda Norrell

The US border wall construction is already destroying habitat, the wild places of animals, birds and pollinators, along the Rio Grande in Texas.
Any day now, construction will begin on the Arizona border, blocking the migration of the Pronghorn Antelope and rupturing life in the fragile Sonoran Desert. The enormous lights and road construction alone will disturb the creatures of the fragile Sonoran Desert.

In Texas, people will loose their homes and farms, and the US will seize access to the water of the Rio Grande. The US will create a no-mans land, a corridor, which the US politicians can use for their corporate friends.
These small, expensive stretches of border wall will not stop immigration. It will push migrants to more deadly zones.
"The government has already demolished refuge land in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas and construction is set to begin any day. On one section of the Lower Rio Grande Valley National Wildlife Refuge, crews have used heavy construction equipment to destroy a mix of trees, including mesquite, mulberry and hackberry. Those trees protect birds during the ongoing nesting season," AP reports.
Like the death camps where Trump is caging and torturing  children to death, and the theft of migrant children for adoption and trafficking, the border wall is an act of genocide and ecocide, and the outcry should be heard around the world.
At least six children have died in Trump's death camps and cages for migrant children, and many more have been raped and sexually abused.

Water Protectors, 2016

Newly-released e-mails confirm what Censored News exposed about the federal permits for the Dakota Access Pipeline.
Now the lawmakers, police and military responsible for the permits, attacks and abuse that resulted in critical injuries to many protecting the water -- want to hide.
-- Sinister Role of Two U.S. Presidents
The permitting process for Dakota Access pipeline began during the Obama administration, in the spring of 2014,  according to U.S. Dept of Energy records that Censored News discovered online and exposed.
That was just a few months before Obama visited Standing Rock in June of 2014.
Later in 2016, when Water Protectors were being shot with rubber bullets, fired on with tear gas, and imprisoned in dog cages with prisoner numbers written on their arms as was done by the Nazis -- Obama refused to halt the abuse.
Cheyenne River Lakota Chairman Harold Frazier urged Obama to halt the abuse, during a meeting in Los Angeles, but Obama refused to stop the abuse and refused to halt the pipeline construction. Instead, Obama went golfing and to a fundraiser dinner. Obama told a news reporter that he was waiting for things "to play out."
When Trump began his bizarre and crazed term, Trump endangered all forms of life and continued the sinister U.S. agenda in 2017, carrying out the genocidal policies of the U.S. government that places oil, profits, and payback to political donors, above human life and justice.
While Obama relied on public relations' spin to avoid detection, Trump didn't bother. Trump's agenda was, and is, destruction, agitation, distraction, confusion and abuse of the protectors.
-- New Exposures Send Abusers Begging to Hide --
The Intercept and Will Parrish are exposing new information. Freedom of Information requests reveal the big players which enabled Dakota Access Pipeline to continue the abuse.
The Intercept also exposed earlier Heath Harmon of Three Affiliated Tribes, the undercover FBI agent who set up Red Fawn for arrest and imprisonment.
Unicorn Riot, on the frontlines and arrested at Standing Rock, documented the abuse by the United States.
New e-mails show the power of Unicorn Riot videos and make it clear why the media was targeted with arrest at Standing Rock.
Revealing the power of identifying the perpetrators who remain protected by the United States government -- the links for Censored News have been censored and blocked by Twitter since 2016.
The links have been blocked ever since Censored News posted photos and names of the dog handlers, security guards, undercover agents and off-duty police officers who carried out the attack using vicious dogs to attack Standing Rock Water Protectors in September of 2016.
Now, North Dakota is on the run.
North Dakota wants to keep documents and truth secret and hidden from the public.
The Intercept exposes how North Dakota seeks to restrict public records access after Standing Rock:
https://theintercept.com/2019/02/11/north-dakota-public-records-pipeline-protest/

Further, a General has been exposed.
At Huffington Post, read how a General turned oil lobbyist pushed through permits for Dakota Access Pipeline:

Documents in Standing Rock Sioux court case, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

And further, a Louisiana Sheriff is now being ordered to turn over records.
Lake Charles Sheriff Greg Champagne in southern Louisiana knew his area would benefit from the end of Dakota Access pipeline, with the Bayou Bridge pipeline.
Champagne was also President of the National Sheriff's Association in 2016, which lobbied Congress for militarized weapons and vehicles, and brought in Sheriff's Departments from across the nation to attack Standing Rock Water Protectors in 2016. The facts were exposed by DeSmog Blog in 2016.
The court recently ordered the records be turned over:

Trump's Genocidal, Toxic Team to COP23, with Peabody Coal Leading the Way

Big Mountain

In a Time of Monsters, Trump Enables the Monster Makers

By Brenda Norrell
Censored News

White House pushing coal, gas and nuclear energy at UN Climate Summit today. Trump's toxic team with Peabody Coal.

Trump is sending a genocidal toxic team to the U.N. Climate Summit in Bonn, Germany, with Peabody Coal leading the way.
Peabody Coal' s mining on Black Mesa has led to 40 years of human suffering and forced relocation for Dineh. Those Dineh who remain and resist relocation have spent 40 years living without running water and electricity, while Peabody drains the aquifer and poisons the air.
The coal lights up southern Arizona from the coal-fired Navajo Generating Station on the Navajo Nation. It is one of the dirtiest, most polluting power plants in the world.
Trump is the latest in a long line of corrupt politicians who target Indian lands with genocidal and toxic coal mining and coal fired power plants.
Trump's delegation to COP23 includes more genocidal polluters from the nuclear and gas industries.
Meanwhile, throughout Indian country, fracking, drilling, flaring of oil and gas is destroying the land, water and air. Workers' "man camps" attract criminals engaged in illegal drugs and sex crimes, as documented on the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation in North Dakota.
As for nuclear energy, there is no safe way to produce nuclear energy. There is no safe way to transport or dispose of nuclear waste.
Western Shoshone have lived with the radioactive fallout from the Nuclear Test Site in Nevada, and now battle nuclear dumping at sacred Yucca Mountain.
Navajos and Pueblos were sent to their deaths during the Cold War, mining uranium without protective clothing. Today, radioactive tailings remain scattered across the Navajo Nation.
Out of control with destruction, the Trump administration now targets the Arctic with drilling and urges uranium mining in the Grand Canyon, with no respect or sanity.
The New York Times reported, Trump Team to Promote Fossil Fuels and Nuclear Power at Bonn Climate Talks:

WASHINGTON — The Trump administration will promote coal, natural gas and nuclear energy as an answer to climate change at a presentation during a United Nations global warming conference this month, the White House confirmed Thursday.
The program is billed as a discussion of how American energy resources, particularly fossil fuels, can help poor countries meet electricity needs and drive down greenhouse gas emissions. Entitled “The Role of Cleaner and More Efficient Fossil Fuels and Nuclear Power in Climate Mitigation,” it will feature speakers from Peabody Energy, a coal company; NuScale Power, a nuclear engineering firm; and Tellurian, a liquefied natural gas exporter.

Israel's Black Cube spies hired to suppress news articles, as Israel gains U.S. border contracts

Israel's Black Cube spies hired to suppress news articles, as Israel gains U.S. border contracts

Black Cube spies were hired to halt news stories, at the same time that Israeli companies are receiving U.S. border contracts -- including Elbit Systems' contract for spy towers on sacred land of the Tohono O'odham Nation -- and Trump's border wall prototype.

By Brenda Norrell

Israeli intelligence 'Black Cube,' is tracking journalists and trying to halt news articles in the U.S., writes Julian Assange on Twitter today, with a link to The New Yorker magazine's new exposures.
It is important to those who live on the US Mexico border, including the Tohono O'odham Nation, who are now facing the Apartheid Israeli contractors hired to build the spy towers by Homeland Security during the Obama Administration.
Now, Trump wants an Israeli firm to build his border wall.
"An Israeli company, Elta North America, (a subsidiary of the Israel Aerospace Industry) was one of eight companies awarded a massive sum to produce a prototype for the wall that the U.S. intends to build along the U.S.-Mexico border," Telesur reports.
Israel's contracts from U.S. Homeland Security, at the United States southern border, including the spy towers on sovereign Tohono O'odham land, are one of the most censored articles in the U.S. by the media. The exposures of Israeli intelligence Black Cube spies posing as friends, and attempting to halt news stories, was exposed by Ronan Farrow in The New Yorker.
Harvey Weinstein set out to suppress allegations that he had sexually harassed or assaulted numerous women. He hired private security agencies to collect information on the women and the journalists trying to expose the allegations, The New Yorker reports.
"One of the investigators pretended to be a women’s-rights advocate and secretly recorded at least four meetings with McGowan. The same operative, using a different false identity and implying that she had an allegation against Weinstein, met twice with a journalist to find out which women were talking to the press."
Assange said today, "Weinstein hired ex-Mossad agents at Israeli intelligence company 'Black Cube' to infiltrate accusers & quash stories,"
Censored News continues to expose breaking news from the Tohono O'odham border, where U.S. contracts are being awarded to Israeli companies engaged in Apartheid in Palesine.

Israel’s Elbit Systems plans spy towers on sacred land at the border, where O'odham ancestors are buried.
Ofelia Rivas, O"odham, exposed Elbit Systems plans on Tohono O'odham land, and her home community's fight against the Israeli spy towers. Elbit is responsible for the genocidal security surrounding Palestine, and drones globally.
The Gu-Vo District opposed this proposal from the beginning, and the United States ruled it could care less.
Gu-Vo, in the western most district of the Tohono O'odham Nation, told the U.S., prior to the assessment, "The Gu-Vo District opposes these proposed tower sites to protect cultural sites on the holy mountain now called the Ajo Mountain Range. The mountain holds human remains of our people and also places of our cultural practices (medicine bundles) home and home of the ceremonial deer and bighorn sheep and mountain tortoises that are protected under the Endangered Species Act."
"The United States government military forces, the border patrol, have not been forthcoming with impact information, such as health effects and have deliberately misinformed the people regarding the immediate environmental impacts such as the roads they will build on the mountain and installation of electrical power lines to the sites as well as that these proposed tower sites will have a 25-year or longer impact on the mountain, the animal and plant life and the O'odham lives."
"The Gu-Vo District communities landscape have already been greatly impacted by numerous unauthorized roads and destruction of our mountains and hills of great significance to the O'odham way of life. Our future generations will face more restriction to live on our original lands as our rights as original Indigenous peoples continue to deteriorate."
"These U.S. proposed towers also are not on the border but in our communities and on the border of the Tohono O'odham Nation reiterating discrimination and deliberate attack on the O'odham," said Gu-Vo District.
Rivas, O'odham living on the border and founder of O'odham VOICE Against the Wall, describes the him'dag, way of life. "The O’odham way of life is based on the land that has held the remains of our ancestors since the creation of this world. The O’odham did not migrate from anywhere according to our oral history. Our creation tellings record our history and teach the O’odham principles of life. The survival of O’odham today is based in our him’dag." During President Trump's visit today to North Dakota, in promotion of a refinery, Native Americans brought the message of healing, and the vital message of the reality of climate change, as hurricanes and wildfires devastate the continent.
Linda Black Elk urges people to stand up and not be afraid. Take a stand for climate change, she urges.
"Resist. Resist Genocide with us."
This isn't just about Dakota Access Pipeline, Enbridge or the others.
Today, Trump supporters were spewing hate at Native American women who were present.
"Stand up against the hate," Black Elk said.
Black Elk said the people here have been working tirelessly to send supplies to the Gulf Coast, hit by Hurricane Harvey, and to those who are victims of wildfires in Montana.
Speaking of the resistance that began in response to the Dakota Access Pipeline at Standing Rock, Black Elk said the people here are multi-taskers working together.
Black Elk explains why the people here are standing against Trump.
Black Elk said Trump pulled us out of the climate agreement in Paris.
As Native Americans gathered to speak out for Mother Earth, clean water, clean air, and sacred lands, she said, "Can't you all see that our Mother is angry right now?"
Waste Win Young, Lakota and Dakota from Standing Rock, was among the Native women who took a stand today.
Waste said they were yelled at, and there was even a tree branch thrown at them.
Waste said, "We held our own today. We made our stand. Wopila to everyone who came and stood! Baby steps. We can change the world."

Linda Black Elk says they brought a healing message today, but others did not. Watch video above.
