DON’T JOIN MILITARY
MNN.  Feb. 7, 2013.  Do not join the Canadian or US military.  Europeans have a strategy of putting Indigenous People in the galley of the ships to seek their fortunes and world domination agenda.  You should not help these monsters make holes in the hulls of our ancestral canoes to try to get control over the whole river of life.
APTN recruitment ads for $DND.
APTN recruitment ads for $DND

First, corporations create poverty and desperation among our people.  The youth have to either commit suicide with drugs and alcohol. Or the government suggests an honorable way out.  “Defend your country”, “Be a hero”. They need cannon fodder for their illegal wars.

Once you slap on that uniform, you belong to them. They are recruiting  you to commit the same crimes that they committed against us.  Middle Eastern people are not our enemies.
You will be made to kill dark skinned people and steal their land and resources.  The weapons you fire are designed to kill the victims and to contaminate you so you have an early death.  They want to cut down on medical bills and pensions.  You don’t even know the greedy bankers you are fighting for.
US recruitment of Buffalo Soldiers to murder Indians.
US recruitment of Buffalo Soldiers to murder Indians.
After centuries of genocide they want you to fill up their armies to die on their sinking ship.  You may be ordered to kill your own people, men, women and babies!  Our mind, body and energy are tied to our land.  You are going to be told lies to make you hate the people you are going to be ordered to slaughter.  Many of you will die.

The cartels have decided that some of us are meant to die.  We will need you during the hardest times that are coming.
You are needed at home.  We are helpless without our protectors.  Our nationalism is to care for our families and lands.
The bankers” motto is: “Your life is yours to give and for us to take”.
Our grandfather’s said that each boy, inside their minds, has two wolves constantly fighting each other. One black one. One white one. The grandson asks, “Which one wins, grandpa?” The grandfather says, “The one you feed”.
As Buffy Ste-Marie sang “He’s the Universal Soldier, and he really is the blame.  But his orders come from far away no more.  They come from him and you and me. Oh, brothers, can’t you see, this is not the way we put an end to war”.

Chris Jocks has left a new comment on your post "Mohawk Nation News 'Don't Join the Military'":

Greetings. I am a Kahanwake Mohawk who is trying to understand and live according to the Kaianerenkowa, also known as the Great Law, or Great Peace.

Politically, there is a lot about which I agree with Kahentinehta Horn and her Mohawk Nation News website, especially when it comes to the dependency of tribal governments on corporate interests. I am glad she has written to contest the way people in many Indigenous communities are brought up to respect the military.

And you have to agree, her media skills are sharp and her diatribes entertaining.

However when it comes to traditional matters of the Longhouse, please keep in mind that MNN does not speak for the Mohawk Nation, at Kahnawake or anywhere else.

On Feb. 4 ("Sage Advice") MNN published an image above a caption reading, "Time to feed the masks": For most of the Longhouse people I know and were taught by, some of whom are my relatives, the powerful Beings represented by this image are meant to appear only in the Longhouse, among our own people. It is deeply offensive to display their images for the general public in any way.

I am sure Kahentinehta Horn knows this; apparently she does not care. Look on the MNN website and you will find that the people involved follow the teachings of the late Louis Hall, who prided himself on his irreverence. For him, Longhouse ceremonies were about social bonding, Indian pride, and building the military power of Native Warrior Societies: nothing more.

Kinda like a half-time show.

Response to Chris Jocks from Kahentinetha Horn, Mohawk Nation News
These are personal attacks. If they are valid, why doesn't he put his views out there for the public to read? We are not hiding anything here. We don't try to tell anyone what to think. Only what we think. We are directed to do this by the Kaianerekowa. Everyone must use our own mind, onigonra. In our law we are equal and have a voice. We have a duty put our views forward. Take our individual ideas and add it to the collective, that is how we develop the power of one mind. It works. Thank you for your viewpoints, Chris. Please add it to the well. This is how we will reclaim the power of the one mind. We have to be healed from the foreign hierarchical mind systems imposed.
The mask were all stolen in 1779 when 13,000 soldiers of them entered Onondaga to destroy everything. They stole everything. All those stolen masks have to be fed. That is all we meant. The one in the story is on the Internet. Google 'false face societies' and many of the stolen false faces will come up on the internet. They are sitting in private collections. They are living and have to be fed soon! Like in the mask movie of Jim Carrey.
