Buongiorno compagni, buongiorno compagne.

Dove troviamo i soldi?’.

Cosa fecero i militari?
Così abbiamo lavorato e a poco a poco siamo progrediti.

March 2013

NOTE: The fragments that follow speak of resistance zap ... a moment! ... There is a force Aera Zapatista! The health system is better than that of the Zapatista misrule! During these almost 20 years, the Zapatista communities have resisted with ingenuity, creativity and intelligence to all its variables counterinsurgency. The so-called "Crusade" Against Hunger "of the overseers PRI in turn, does nothing more than re-edit the fallacious assumption that what the natives are asking for alms, and Democracy, Liberty and Justice. This counterinsurgency campaign does not come alone, but accompanied by the media (the same as in Venezuela presents its vocation coup against the people who will bring out the strength of his pain), the complicity of the entire political class (in what should be called "Pact with Mexico") and, of course, a new escalation of military and police in the territories Zapatistas ringalluzziscono paramilitary groups (with the consent of the state government), federal troops increase patrols provocative "to locate the Zapatista leadership, "agencies" intelligence "are reactivated, and the justice system presents its ridiculousness (see the case Cassez) and refuses to Professor Alberto Gómez Pathistán freedom, condemning it to be indigenous in Mexico of the XXI century. But the professor resists, not to mention the indigenous Zapatista communities ...

Hello mates, good morning friends. My name is Ana, the Good Government Junta current fourth generation 2011-2014, of the Caracol of La Realidad. I will talk a bit 'of ideological resistance, I'll talk about it in two, me and mate. I will talk about the ideology of misrule. Bad governance using all means of communication to control and misinform the people, for example, television, radio, soap operas, mobile, newspapers, magazines and even sports. For many television and radio broadcasts commercials to distract people, soap operas to charm people and make them believe that what happens on TV can happen to anyone. In education the system of misrule, ideologically, to those who are not Zapatistas manipulates them so that their children go to school each day well dressed and tidy, no matter if they learn to read or write, but only to get in nice show. Also provides them with scholarships to get a degree, but in the end the only ones to take advantage of it are the companies that sell all accessories for school or those who are divided. How to resist to all these evils of the ideology of the government in our Caracol? Our chief weapon is an autonomous education. In our Caracol promoters are taught the true story about the people that is passed on to the boys and girls, introducing also our demands. It has also begun to make policy courses for our young people so that they are awake and not fall easily in the ideology of the government. Communities are also doing courses on thirteen questions, the courses are taught by local people of each village. This is what I can tell you, and now you speak mate.

There is also the issue of programs, projects of the government. The government introduced the project to the brothers believe they overcharged something and believe that this is good and forget of their work. So the brothers no longer dependent on their own, but are dependent misrule.

What do we do to oppose these things? We organize to carry out collective work, as already told some compassion in the village in the region, and even in the towns in the area. This work will meet our needs and that is how to resist falling into the trap of bad governance projects and to depend on ourselves and not by the bad government.

There is a fairly large hospital in a community that is called Guadalupe Tepeyac and now he is building a very close, half an hour, an hour's drive to La Realidad, a children's hospital. But what happens, how does the hospital in Guadalupe Tepeyac? The government has provided all the equipment there, and people come from all communities, from different municipalities, and what happens if they do the ultrasound, for example, or a lab? The doctors there know, it is very close, we have the Hospital School "Los Sin Rostro de San Pedro" which is located in a community very close, and they can not do certain analyzes in the hospital because of government have qualified personnel, there are machines but there is no staff, then they visit and then send them to our hospital, the Hospital-Zapatista school. Performing the tests - what level do you think we got there, comrades - and of course there are rules to follow in this hospital that require the payment of a fee for those coming from outside to undergo tests.

So people realize, is surprised, that in a government hospital is not what you expect, that the solution to his problem, then come to our hospital to undergo examinations and laboratory tests. Hospital of Guadalupe is a lab technician, but there are many things that this technician can not do, then he was sent to our hospital school. Here we have a qualified partner that has formed many other companions and performs different analyzes. But not only the advantage that there is no official hospital, where they perform only those examinations and then just send the patient to another doctor for receiving assistance is that this partner hospital, when someone comes mandate by doctors at the hospital of Guadalupe, makes examinations and at the same time gives the recipe, the cure for his illness because he has gained a lot of knowledge in that lab.

To complete a little 'what was said on the rural town [made with the approval media, the government of the "left" of the corrupt Juan Sabines Guerrero], initially the houses are built. According to what they tell us comrades, construction, building materials that are totally TRIPLAY, very skinny, not as the boards we use. Currently the buildings swell like balloons when there is strong wind and when the hot season and the rain, because the materials used to build the houses are already ruined. That's it. There, in the hall, went to live for a few days of families, and according to newspaper reports, there is a kitchen measuring 3 × 3, but a small, one bedroom and a lounge. But here you can not do anything because as you do in that space to light the fire? You can not.

Currently do not work, the families there have been a few days but then had to return to their communities. Some other families are still there but they live in poor conditions. We are told that there is a hill, and at the top where there are buildings constructed a water tank but it does not work, comrades, are not working. They say that there is a bank to invest money, I do not know if it's a world bank, state, municipal, I do not know, but it is not working. There are only empty shells and pieces. It's not like say a 'rural village', a very beautiful name, in fact there's nothing there. Therefore, as his companions said, why believe in the projects and stuff? Are lies.

(...)

As his companions said, is part of the war the enemy, so some companions in this area were persuaded by those and I went there, and it is not because they have a better life. In many places there are those who leave the organization or those who are in parties, but the comrades support bases have a better life. What they say of rural towns are lies.

To understand the ideological manipulation of misrule in Santiago El Pinar, women had promised to make the chicken coops for sale of eggs. The hens need a lot of food, and provided many hens at the beginning did a lot of eggs, but the government also procured the market channel through which to sell them. The hens laid eggs, but many do? You could not compete with large grocery stores where they sell the eggs. Then the brothers told us that they divided the eggs, but the government did not provide more feed and hens began to waste away and stop making eggs. And then the women said, 'What do we do? We need to cooperate. But how do we do if there are no more eggs? Where do we find the money? '. The chickens died and what he had said bad governance had not yielded results. All this was only there to send the cameras to film the delivery of chickens, how beautiful it was so. But within three months all this was over.

Among other things, such as comparative said that the houses will swell up like toads, there is another problem. Women are used to make tortillas over the fire, but the floor is wood, TRIPLAY, and you can not light a fire there. They provided gas cylinders which does not know how to use and do not last even a month, and so there are heaps of bottles, there is a stove and serves no purpose. In our life of peasants, indigenous people, behind your house is vegetables, cane, pineapples, bananas, what is there, it is our way of life, but there is not, there just a house and point. They do not know what to do but have to go back to work on the land they left behind, and this involves other expenses to come and go.

The politics of misrule is to destroy community life, community life, that you give up your land or sells, and so you're screwed. It is a policy of injustice, you create more misery. All of the millions that poor governance state, municipal and federal receives UN, which is the United Nations, is used to organize those who cause the problems in the communities especially against us bases.

It is the continuation of politics, one that is talked about a lot, now no longer want to talk about it, the media will no longer appear: the Plan Puebla-Panama. Now they have found another name because the Plan Puebla-Panama has been much criticized, but it is the same thing, they just changed the name to continue to bring individualism in the communities, to destroy what remains of the town yet.

The resistance is becoming more or less like the tell. Sometimes the comrades working in the milpa or coffee plantation, or if you have cattle sometimes sell an animal to get a bit 'of money, because the bad government attacks us with his designs of concrete floors, modern houses and other things so that the brothers PRI, parties and other community accept.

And it seems that now they have become accustomed to money, are increasingly the government so they arrive with more money and other projects, as they explained some companions of La Garrucha, and it is happening in the Caracol of Morelia. Sometimes these brothers sell tin roofs, which is part of a government project, the government plans to improve his party but the opposite happens due to the result of the work of the comrades in resistance.

For example, a sheet of metal in a hardware store costs about 180 pesos, but they come to sell it at 100 pesos, 80 pesos, and arrive in hardware building blocks that cost 5, 6 or 7 pesos, but they sell them at 3 pesos, two pesos. And comrades, we, since we are in resistance, we are not used to spending the fruits of our labor, they are the ones who buy, and maybe one day you will see some new settlement sheet metal colored, but it came from the work of his companions. This is what is going on there too.

But the government has realized where he is going to finish his project. It's not benefit the parties, the PRI, but if you are taking advantage of the Zapatistas, which sends building materials there is already a bricklayer. Arrival of the material is already there as a bricklayer and the Zapatistas improve their homes, and that's changing ways, as they have done in many ways the bad governments that have followed from '94 to today.

Well compas, explain again the military resistance, as explained by the partner. It is for me to tell what happened in 1999 in the Ejido Amador Hernández, City Hall General Emiliano Zapata.

At that time, one day on August 11, came the soldiers, and we comrades we opposed the arrival of the military. They wanted to take the community and occupied a ballroom, and her companions approached them, drove them from the community. But what went on, there was a garrison. The garrison attended by all those in the area of Caracol La Realidad. In that situation the resistance came also in civil society and all that resistance succeeded because it was time to chaquiste [small insect that stings even through clothing - translator], time of mud, rain season. We have not fallen into their provocations, we have not clashed militarily, but we've dealt with peacefully.

The garrison were organized dances, danced in front of the military. And they held religious ceremonies were held events compas, did political demonstration of the struggle.

What did the military? Began to fear that they convince most because we were face to face with them, then the military command of the army settled altoparlati because they would not hear our words and made them turn away a little.

What happened? The companions to the garrison, having heard, they invented of making paper airplanes that threw the soldiers. Thus was born the first of the Zapatista Army Air Force in Amador Hernández, but it's just paper.

(...)

All this, compas, happened in that military resistance, we have dealt with shoving, comrades and soldiers in two rows, and there was a compa ... a little guy, that when the military pushed us with their shields and batons, on the comparative stamped his feet and even the military trampled. A soldier biggest saw the scene and began to laugh because the comparative and the soldiers stepped on each other's feet. The soldier laughed and compa little guy says, "What are you laughing little guy", but the soldier was big, was the companion to be little one.

This is what I've seen and I'm seeing. The result is there. We did not eat tostadas at all, and the tostada with strength and wisdom. He made much use of collectivism, because I speak in this way, comrades? Sorry for the bad words, comrades, we have learned from the companions in every village, every town hall to address the damned are welded in our places and who persecute us. There the companions have learned to defend themselves, I do not know, with the beatings they must hunt the soldiers, they did it by force, with stones or with shouts and mentaderas [insults]. So they organized companions, I saw this when her companions and I were convinced to address them and showed that the companions are able to do so.

(...)

Even the authorities began to alternate and welcome to our needs that we present in the town hall from every village, every region and every center. So we worked and little by little we have progressed. Po we started the project of health and education and, as he told his companion, in the municipality have the clicnica "companera María Luisa" [name of struggle Deni Stock Prieto, fall in battle February 14, 1974 at Nepantla, State of Mexico, Mexico] and in the Ejido San Jerónimo Tulija the clinic "companera Murcia-Elisa Irina Sáenz Garza," a companion who fought and died in El rancho Chilar [in the Lacandon Jungle, Chiapas, Mexico, in February 1974 dl], we live close to where she died, so our clinic bears his name.
