SAN FRANCISCO -- On Monday, October 14, a protest was held to help initiate a process with city government to begin to address public racism and removal these objects from public view. To remove racism from society, first remove the bigotry here, the Columbus statue, casts toward the Ocean, in San Francisco. 

The protest against Christopher Columbus, and other statues and symbols that depict their terrorist heroes, started at Washington Square Park, in North Beach, San Francisco, and led up toward Coit Tower to where the statue gazes across the bay...
