Laiken Jordahl said that the Tohono O’odham Tribal Chairman and the National Park Service formally asked the Dept. of Homeland Security to avoid ground-disturbing activities at sensitive cultural sites in the Roosevelt Reservation near Quitobaquito Springs.
"What did DHS do?"
"They bulldozed the whole thing."
Human remains were found in this region prior to the blasting that contractors just carried out.
