On Sunday, Tó Nizhóní Ání traveled to Red Butte to stand in solidarity with the Havasupai People who oppose uranium mining and transport. For those unaware, the Pinyon Plain Mine has begun transporting uranium ore across the Navajo Nation to the White Mesa Mill in Utah. With the recent halt in transportation, we urge our Diné people to be vigilant about this issue as it impacts our way of life, land, and people in the Navajo Nation.
