RENO, Nevada --
The American Indian Movement and supporters urged President Obama to grant clemency to imprisoned Leonard Peltier, during a march and rally in downtown Reno on Sunday.
Buck Sampson, Northern Paiute, said, "With our AIM flags, songs, posters and banners, we prayed and marched to the federal court house, We marched around it and then went back to where we began, and said a thank you prayer."
Sampson said there was a good turn out from the American Indian Movement from Southern California, Los Angeles, and Northern Nevada Chapters.
