RIGHTS OF MOTHER EARTH

The Mother Earth has rights and should be respected by the world community, if we do not do this due to the selfishness of some countries, we will be exposing the rest of humanity and other living beings on the planet, to disasters as a result of climate change, which is a manifestation of discontent of Mother Earth.
In principle we have to accept that what we are, we owe it to Mother Earth, how is it so? The body that we have, weak or strong, we owe it to food which is given to us by Mother Earth, the constitute elements of our material nature, are or come from Mother Earth, the Mother Earth, gives us water, oxygen that we breathe, clothing, housing, and allows our existence, and various species of animals, the Mother Earth is in constant movement, or is it that we can deny that from their minuscule elements, like atoms and much more minuscule not yet discovered by science, it is constant movement and transformation, and why not say that the earth is alive, and obeys mandates, when you know to address whit her, for example, by the sacred history, we know that the waters obeyed a mandate from God, when he ordered the sea to open to allow Israelis walk through, perhaps this is saying a lot, but perhaps this phenomena will be explained by science in some years from now.
Now, to whom do we owe being economically rich? We owe it to Mother Earth, that allows us to take out from her womb, for say, oil, gold, silver, foodstuffs, and other minerals that become merchandise we use to become rich.
Obtaining millions of dollars for the use of the land, makes it possible to buy for our use, material things such as cars, houses, planes, boats or create more companies that increase our wealth, as seen. Isn’t Mother Earth the one that provides us, or is it that it all comes from other worlds.
Since our carnal mother has given birth, who provides us with food to grow, isn’t it Mother Earth?
If we call mother who has given us life, we can also call mother to the land that gives us sustenance to grow and become who we are. Although we hurt Mother Earth, through pollution, by our ignorance of principles and then knowing, she still shelters within it.
More clearly, we have been poisoning our Mother Earth with the GHG, and we hurt her physically deforesting their forests, which will diminish her defense in an effort to offset the pollution produced by large industrial explosion and development of the global fleet, thereby making Mother Earth temperature increase as if she had fever, which can be observed through the Climate Change, the discontent of Mother Earth is evidenced through disasters such as hurricanes, floods, tsunamis, droughts, etc.
It is in the hands of their children, to resolve the problem of the degree of fever that we have caused to Mother Earth, which may be through the implementation of reforestation of all forest deforested by man and afforestation or forests conformation around the area of land where it is possible to plant trees, and replacing non-renewable energy production and use of clean and renewable energy for industrial use, and domestic service. This way, we will be contributing to the healing of Mother Earth and will regain her confidence, and be like the prodigal son returning to the bosom of his home, being sorry for the actions committed against Mother Earth, by the desire of enrichment.
Mother Earth will never stop loving us, proof of that is that she still welcomes us within her despite our constant damaging her, hoping that someday we will reconsider our actions and stop hurting her through deforestation of forests and trees pollution gases.
Respectfully,
February, Arequipa, 2010.
Respetuosamente,
Arequipa 2010,Febrero

CIA on University Campuses

US universities are now hunting grounds for vulnerables, as the CIA and Homeland Security set up shop on campuses, with global cyber spies and special agents in search of local snitches. The US military has long used campuses to fill their quotas, using the blood of America's youth to water the US economy, enrich corporate war profiteers and pump up the careers of politicians.
Read David Price's special report in CounterPunch on how the CIA operates on campus. Also read Alexander Cockburn's "The Coverups That Exploded," on the US killing civilians in Iraq, captured on video, and US special forces murdering pregnant women and a child in Afghanistan and digging the bullets out of their bodies:

How the CIA is Welcoming Itself Back Onto American University Campuses
Silent Coup

When the New Infiltration Began
In 2004, a $250,000 grant was awarded to Trinity Washington University by the Intelligence Community for the establishment of a pilot “Intelligence Community Center of Academic Excellence” program ...
In 2005, the first ICCAE centers were installed at ten campuses: California State University San Bernardino, Clark Atlanta University, Florida International University, Norfolk State University, Tennessee State University, Trinity Washington University, University of Texas El Paso, University of Texas-Pan American, University of Washington, and Wayne State University. Between 2008-2010, a second wave of expansion brought ICCAE programs to another twelve campuses: Carnegie Mellon, Clemson, North Carolina A&T State, University of North Carolina-Wilmington, Florida A&M, Miles College, University of Maryland, College Park, University of Nebraska, University of New Mexico, Pennsylvania State University, and Virginia Polytechnic Institute.

The Cover-Ups That Exploded
By ALEXANDER COCKBURN
The Pentagon is reeling after two lethal episodes uncovered by diligent journalism show trigger-happy U.S. Army helicopter pilots and U.S. Special Forces slaughtering civilians, then seeking to cover up their crimes.
The worldwide web was transfixed on Monday when Wikileaks put up on YouTube a 38-minute video, along with a 17-minute edited version, taken from a U.S. Army Apache helicopter, one of two firing on a group of Iraqis in Baghdad at a street corner in July of 2007. Twelve civilians died, including a Reuters photographer Namir Noor-Eldeen, 22, and a Reuters driver, Saeed Chmagh, 40.
At a press conference in Washington, D.C., Wikileaks said it had got the footage from whistle-blowers in the military and had been able to break the encryption code. The Pentagon has confirmed the video is genuine.
Meanwhile, in Afghanistan, the U.S. military has finally admitted that Special Forces troops killed two pregnant Afghan women and a girl in a February, 2010, raid, in which two Afghan government officials were also killed. Brilliant reporting by Jerome Starkey of The Times of London has blown apart the U.S. military’s cover-up story that the women were killed by knife wounds administered several hours before the raid.
It now appears that the knife wounds may have been inflicted by the Special Forces troops retrieving their bullets from the dead or dying women's bodies.

OneClimate: Live webstream from Bolivia Climate Summit

OneClimate Channel enables everyone to attend World Climate Conference in Bolivia
Media release

ople’s Climate Summit, which runs from the 19-22 April in Bolivia, has been touted as an opportunity for ‘ordinary people’ to take the lead in tackling climate change. The good news is you are invited to attend – and you can do so without having to fly.
The pioneering OneClimate Channel has already enabled millions of people around the world to participate in global climate talks – most recently during the Copenhagen Climate Conference in December 2009. But in Bolivia, the promise of an ‘open process’ (there will be no secret discussions behind closed doors) combined with OneClimate’s groundbreaking interactive coverage, means that anyone with access to the Internet will have a free pass right to the heart of the summit.
‘This is an unprecedented opportunity for individuals to join with frontline communities, activists and governments in the search for common solutions to the climate crisis,’ says Peter Armstrong, the originator of the live Internet video channel. ‘And by participating in the summit virtually, they will be saving carbon, cash and themselves from the hassle of travelling.’
The channel’s previous coverage of UN climate conferences in Copenhagen, Poznan and Balihas shown that ordinary people have a real desire to follow the global talks – and to make their voice heard.
‘In Copenhagen, people were not simply watching the channel but were joining in, sending in questions and comments by chat and tweets to the people we were interviewing -tens of thousands of people!’ says Anuradha Vittachi, OneClimate’s founder.
‘This is climate media by the people, for the people.’OneClimate is a partner of the Global Campaign for Climate Action. GCCA recently won the prestigious We Media award for its experiment in collaborative climate campaigning in the run up to the UN’s Copenhagen Climate Conference.
Among the GCCA’s experimental successes were the tcktcktck website, which received 2.5 million views in four months, the OneClimate Channel, which attracted 4 million views during the two week conference (ten times its target),and the tcktcktck petition which has received more than 15 million pledges.
Now GCCA and OneClimate will be working together again to ensure that distance is no barrier to participation in the People’s Summit. The OneClimate channel is an initiative of OneWorld UK and uses its innovative ecoCastingtechnologies.
The live streaming service is provided in cooperation with Justin.tv and can be viewed at www.oneclimate.net/bolivia The entire channel is also free to embed on third partywebsites via
