Walking the Good Walk: Photos of Dineh Walking against Fracking!

Walking the Good Walk today, Dine' (Navajos) against Fracking: Journey for our Existence!
Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015: "Today we were invited to speak to three classes at the Tse Yi Gai high school in Pueblo Pintado (NM). We shared information on historical trauma, resource extraction and the implications they have on us. There was a sense of empowerment that we could all feel as we departed to continue walking. We invited the students and their families to join us this evening for dinner at White Horse Lake chapter house."

January, 20, 2015: "We just crossed over onto BLM land and made offerings to these wild horses. Many of you may be aware of the livestock round ups that are happening all over Diné Bikéyah. Keep our four legged relatives in your prayers. We'll be sleeping at the chapter house in Pueblo Pintado tonight."Friday, Jan. 23, 2015: "To the people who will be joining us this weekend, please come prepared, dress warm and bring enough layers to keep you warm at night. We will be camping out under the stars or in tents and you can expect temperatures to drop into the teens. We have extra sleeping bags but you should bring your own, if possible."
