It wasn't the tribal governments, or non-profits, it was the Dine', the Strong Hearts, that fed their neighbors, dug horses and donkeys out of the mud, and paddled in canoes to reach their families. It was the Dine', the Big Hearts, that rushed to the front after catastrophic flooding.

LIVE FLIGHT: This US Border Patrol helicopter is circling in surveillance above the Tohono O'odham Nation, between Sells and the San Miguel Gate at the border. Now, local time is 3:30 pm, on Wednesday. O'odham report two semi trucks loaded with border wall panels were sneaking through a remote area of tribal land at 10:25 pm on Monday night.

During the National Congress of American Indians annual convention last week, NCAI passed a resolution opposing the border wall and the intrusion onto the sovereign Tohono O'odham Nation, pointing out the violations of duties and federal laws that the U.S. is violating. Federal laws protecting burial places and eagles are among the laws being violated.

NCAI's resolution states that BIA police failed in their duties when BIA police escorted in border wall contractors on the Nation, who immediately began drilling in August. US Border Patrol special ops BORTAC were in the gang of masked and armed federal agents who took control of the Tohono O'odham Nation at the border. They prevented tribal police from entering their own sovereign nation to issue citations and remove construction crews.

Here in the Sonoran Desert, the US plans to drill water wells, and take over tribal land for construction sites while building the double wall. The US Homeland Security and US Border Patrol ignored a federal judge's order to consult and coordinate with the tribe before proceeding.

The US plans to destroy 2,000 of the protected Saguaro here before it begins building the wall on Dec. 1, 2026, the Tohono O'odham Nation said.

This army helicopter out of Tucson circled over the Tohono O'odham Nation, near San Miguel Gate, south of the capitol of Sells, this afternoon around 2 pm. and is now returning to Tucson. A US Border Patrol helicopter is now there.

Border Patrol agents said earlier that the prayer camp at San Miguel Gate would be removed and our people there could be “manhandled," the tribe said.

Reporter John Carlos Frey said that Border Patrol stormed the Tohono O’odham prayer camp with rifles raised while families slept inside during October.

While Homeland Security says it has a right to build the wall 60 feet from the border, the tribe said it knows the destruction of building the double border wall will extend further and destroy mountains and peaks.

The Court of Appeals in Washington will rule soon on an emergency order to stop Homeland Security, the Tohono O'odham Legislative Council said.

Alert: Two semi trucks loaded with metal border wall panels were on the Tohono O'odham Nation at 10:25 pm on Monday night.

O'odham report: "The semi trucks were south bound on reservation road 15, south of the nursing home facility. Both trucks with long beds loaded with metal panels as seen at the Eloy manufacturing site. Not known if the trucks turned west towards the west side of the reservation, or east towards Sells."

Armed federal agents prevented Tohono O'odham Nation Police from entering their own sovereign nation to issue citations of trespass to border wall construction crews, who immediately began drilling in August. This violated a federal judge's order for Homeland Security and Border Patrol to consult and co-ordinate with the tribe before proceeding. Masked and armed federal agents, including the Border Patrol's special ops, took control of the Tohono O'odham Nation's region at the southern border in violation of federal law. The National Congress of American Indian's resolution opposing the border wall points out the BIA failed in its duty when it sent federal agents to the Tohono O'odham Nation. The resolution lists the federal laws being violated, including laws protecting burial places and eagles. The resolution was passed at NCAI's annual convention last week.

New Mexico National Guard Rescues Infant Near Chaco Canyon Amid Severe Weather and Washed-Out Roads: "New Mexico National Guard Community Emergency Response Team personnel successfully evacuated an infant experiencing repeated seizures near Chaco Canyon overnight Oct. 22–23 after severe weather washed out roads and prevented aviation assets from reaching the residence." The Navajo Nation Department of Transportation said due to the increase of water levels at San Juan River Bridge, on Highway 160, near the Arizona and Colorado border, at 7:35 AM on Sunday, October 25, the bridge remains closed.

Mexican Water Chapter reports a road closure today, Sunday, near the Arizona and Utah border, at the North end of Road 415 near US Hwy 191 N, due to water erosion.

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. -- Tohono O'odham Chairman Verlon Jose told the National Congress of American Indians that the U.S. government plans to murder O'odham relatives, the Saguaro, which have personhood.

During his presentation on a panel on sacred lands, Chairman Jose described efforts to stop the monstrous border wall from being constructed and gave priority to their court case and warriors on the frontline.

"Right now, we have warriors on the front line -- right now. We have warriors on the front line and they said, 'We're going to do what we do best, and that is prayer. We're not protesting, we're here in prayer, and we believe our prayer is strong."

MOUNT GRAHAM, Arizona -- San Carlos Apache Chairman Raleigh Thompson described how the Bush family and Yale's Skull and Bones Society, attempted to return the skull of Geronimo, and silence an San Carlos Apache Nation delegation.

The Skull and Bones Society admitted to Apache leaders in 1986 that they had a skull they call "Geronimo's" in their secret cult museum in New Haven, Conn. Still, his remains have not been returned.

During an interview on Mount Graham, at the Sacred Spirit Run, Thompson said it is time to bring Geronimo home to be buried in the mountains that he loved.

"Geronimo left his rifle and peace pipe here when they took him away," said Thompson in 2003. He served as a councilman for 16 years.

The Tohono O'odham Legislative Council said today that their Nation and way of life are under attack by the federal government, while the U.S. government threatens and feels assured of its power to violate the rights of a sovereign nation.

Homeland Security plans to begin removing O'odham relatives, the Saguaro, and Ocotillo, in two weeks. More than half of the 2,000 Saguaro will not survive, even if they are transplanted. The government plans to start building the wall on December 1, the tribe said.

The U.S. Border Patrol also issued a threat.

Censored News most viewed articles this week include those by Ophelia Rivas. Ophelia's new book, 'Significant Impact' documents the 10 spy towers constructed by Israel's Elbit Systems on the Tohono O'odham Nation. Ophelia and co-authors successfully completed a book tour in Arizona.

Tohono O'odham Plan a March for their Relatives, the Saguaro, on Monday, Indigenous Peoples Day. The March will begin at 6 am in front of Bashas in the capital of Sells, Arizona. There will be a caravan south to the border camp. Chairman Verlon Jose said the 'no trespass' order is still in effect. However, marchers said they welcome their non-O'odham friends and supporters.

Flights of the Weaponized Drones: Flight Paths over Tohono O'odham Nation

 

Arizona law allows the military to shoot down drones suspected of criminal activity.

The U.S. military flies back and forth over the Tohono O'odham Nation after armed and masked federal agents seized control of the sovereign Tohono O'odham Nation for border wall construction. The military now says it is using weaponized drones, loaded with directed energy lasers, along the border to take out enemy cartel drones. However, those weaponized drones took out a US Border Patrol drone, and a party balloon, by mistake, causing the FAA to shut down the airspace over El Paso twice.

(Above) Tuesday's view of the aircraft we're following. The US military says it's a weaponized drone fighting off enemy cartel drones and it's disabling them with directed energy lasers. However, the drone fighters have already shot down a US Border Patrol drone and party balloon by mistake, shutting down El Paso airspace twice. This one is out of the Army's Fort Huachuca, southeast of Tucson, and flies over the Tohono Oodham Nation border.

Lochiel, Arizona - This morning before sunrise, a land defender climbed the last remaining Cottonwood tree in Tierra Libre standing in the path of wall construction. The tree, "Abuela," stands in La Noria, Sonora, Mexico, with branches and roots straddling the imagined US-Mexico border. The tree was occupied by demonstrators previously on August 18th, resulting in the first ever bi-national tree sit, and is once again halting construction.

More Arrests on on Border after Grandmother Cottonwood Cut Down at Lochiel Tree Sit

The last of the grandmother cottonwoods was slaughtered after land defenders were attacked by violent border patrol at the Lochiel Tree Sit on Monday, Oct. 5, 2006. The tree sitter was removed and there were mass arrests after 71 of days. The gang of violent border patrol included BORTAC, the special ops based in El Paso. A new camp across the border in Mexico was created today, Tuesday.
Land defenders were arrested and released on Monday. Then on Tuesday land defenders said another group was arrested, At least five people were detained Tuesday during a morning prayer ceremony along the border. Customs and Border Protection has not responded to questions about any of the arrests, KJZZ Phoenix reports.

LOCHIEL, Arizona -- After violent arrests at the tree sit in Lochiel Monday morning, the last remaining grandmother cottonwood was cut down. Screams could be heard during violent arrests around the tree that many have come to love. O'odham women joined in the dramatic protests, standing in front of massive border wall construction trucks. Land defenders had stood their ground, with a tree sitter high above, for 71 days.

Land Defenders Statement on Monday

Lochiel, Arizona-- Early this morning, over fifty armed Border Patrol agents, including BORTAC, forcibly entered private property and the site of a now 71 day encampment beneath an ancient Cottonwood tree that stands in the path of the proposed border wall.
Ignoring demands to present a warrant, the agents invaded camp at 6:30 AM. They began destroying tents with badges covered, refusing to share their names and aggressively forcing land defenders away from the Grandmother Tree defenders were gathered around for a sunrise ceremony. Defenders on the ground estimate at least 12 have been arrested so far. Border Patrol agents have begun to make cuts to the ancient tree, critically endangering the tree and the land defender high in its branches. Agents assaulted and tackled land defenders, some who stood in as protective presence aside the tree. Agents even pushed land defenders into a barbed-wire fence, and who are being treated for injuries. Several others had their necks stomped on by agents.
On July 29, border residents from the San Rafael valley and beyond established a tree sit to protect and defend the ancient tree and surrounding ecosystem, standing on the path of proposed border wall construction. Since then, they have halted construction along a twenty mile radius extending east and west along the border.
