Toronto: Native Women Demand Canada Ensure Safe Return of Cree Dene Woman in Israel's Torture Prison

TORONTO -- Native women demanded that Canada intervene to ensure the safe return of Mskwassin Agnew, Cree Dene from Salt River First Nation, now imprisoned in the Ktzi'ot prison in Israel, along with the volunteers on the Freedom Flotilla and Thousand Madleens whose boats were violently raided by Israel forces on Wednesday.

Mskwaasin Agnew, Cree Dene from Salt River First Nation, is now imprisoned in Israel's Ketziot prison in the Negev desert. She was aboard the Conscience boat seized by Israel, one of six Canadians now imprisoned. She sailed beneath the Mohawk Warrior flag, and Anishinaabe flag, with journalists and health professionals to take humanitarian aid to Gaza.

Freedom Flotilla and Thousand Madleens boats are now sailing. Aboard and sharing the message, "Turtle Island to Palestine," is Mskwaasin Agnew, Cree Dene from Salt River First Nation. She is aboard the Conscience boat and joined the flotilla beneath the Mohawk Warrior flag and Anishinaabe flags. The flotilla is now facing being intercepted by Israeli forces. "We are arriving in the red zone tonight. If they block the flotilla, we're counting on you to BLOCK EVERYTHING!" said Youssef Swatts today, Oct. 7, 2025.

Nelson Mandela's grandson Mandla Mandela announced today that members of the Sumud Global Flotilla are coming home. The brutal abuse reported by Australians last night was the latest report that those imprisoned were beaten, shot with water cannons, and their medicines thrown away, placing them in danger of stroke.
