Journey to the State Capitol to protect Ha’Kamwe', a sacred medicinal spring, from lithium mining in Wikieup, Arizona.

Hualapai tribal members, local community members, and allies are working to prevent further exploration drilling for the Big Sandy Lithium Project that would desecrate Ha’Kamwe’ and the ancestral homelands of the Hualapai people.

"Hualapai are fighting to save the spring. An Australian company on the hunt for lithium is drilling exploratory holes deep underground, in some cases just yards away from Ha’Kamwe’. In recent months, the water level of the spring has been dropping, according to Hualapai leaders, amid the continuous drilling."
