Hau mitakuyepi! Anpetu waste yuha po! There are many things that need to be addressed about the Oceti Sakowin Camp. So let's begin first and foremost, wanna say wopila tunkasila for another day on Unci Maka. Now there is much misinformation and miscommunication out there about the Oceti Sakowin Camp. Sorry if everyone was offended by the Oceti Sakowin Camp post and video. We as headsmen had no idea of the news being put out there. So we haven't asked anyone to leave nor have we stopped anyone from coming. As headsmen we were busy maintaining camp. I'd like to say this, if you are coming to camp for a little stay or till the end, we ask you to be fully prepared for winter as winter up here is no joke.
Issue of fire being put out. The fire that was put out was the fire up by p.a. system. It was put out as the prayer was answered on the EIS and denial of permit. Another fire has been lit and with with a new prayer. As for the Seven Council Fire, it has been still going. So we are still here and staying till its over. We are still getting everyone into warmer shelters and better equipped for this winter.
Now the most important issue we've been dealing with is founder syndrome. It don't matter if you was here from beginning or just coming in. These camps are peaceful and prayerful camps. The establishment of our old ancestral encampment was formed and it's leadership with it. On how the headsmen were picked -- was by the camp they've been maintaining and by their people. We are only representatives of our camps at Oceti Sakowin. We are there until our chiefs come. Until then we are there to keep peace and protect the prayer. This is a time where we Lakota/Dakota/Nakota people can form our traditional governance and stand on treaty. So we will be standing our ground to enforce our treaties. Many have questioned our roles and actions. So let's clarify for everyone. Especially through ceremony we were given instructions and directions to follow. We have stayed true to those directions and instructions. It worked as the prayer was answered and got time to establish our original governance. Our chance to rebuild our nation in a good way for the generations to come is now.
We live in a time of prophecy and we need to come together now more than ever for the betterment of our people from all nations. So stay strong and stay frosty! We will make a better future together in solidarity and unity. Time to decolonize and be reborn as new people. So let go of the anger and heal. Then you'll see the fear you grip onto will disappear and you'll become fearless. Then we can stand side by side together and change the world as it is! So quit the confusion and frustration. Let it go as its time to become one heart and one mind. Hau mitakuye oyasin!

RENO -- Kitty Colbert was run over by a pickup truck as the driver made racist statements and slammed into the crowd on Anti-Columbus Day in Reno. The rally was also in support of the water protectors at Standing Rock.

Native Americans gathered today at the Reno courthouse to demand justice.

"Native people look at this as a hate crime. We want it prosecuted as a hate crime," Buck Sampson, Paiute elder, told Censored News.

Colbert, in a wheelchair, said earlier that the drivers should have been charged with a hate crime, instead of just a misdemeanor.

Colbert said she was thankful that her grandchildren, Native Americans, were not run over. They were with her when she hit by the white truck near the Reno Arch. The driver did not stop immediately, even though people were hit and on the pavement.

The driver has been identified as 18-year-old Nicholas Mario Mahaffey. Mahaffey was charged with one charge of provoking assault. After being booked, he was released on $1,000 bail. Mahaffey was in court today.

Just after 2 p.m., the trial date was scheduled for March 1, 2017. Mahaffey waived his right to a trial in 60 days. Prosecutors told the judge there was new video evidence.

Kenny Frost -- Stockpiled Supplies and the Chairman's Deal at Standing Rock

This is just one corner of many warehouse rooms where the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe stockpiled donations that were received in recent months. The boxes, marked by the senders for specific camps of water protectors, are in the process of being distributed. Tribal workers said the packages had been there since October. Kenny Frost, Ute Elder and Water Protector who made this public today said, "It is important to note the tribe has more supplies they have not given out under the name of Standing Rock."

Standing Rock Chairman Dave Archambault told water protectors and Veterans abruptly to leave, when Archambault announced DAPL's drilling permit was denied by the Army Corps. Now, Ute Elder Kenny Frost, a water protector at Standing Rock, explains.

Statement from Chairman Archambault II regarding supply donations. 12-13-16

"There has been some confusion lately regarding donations and the Tribe’s role in storage and dispersal. First and foremost, please do not indulge in these conspiracy theories circulating about secret agreements between the tribe and the company or local law enforcement. Such rumors are false and harmful to our movement. Also, I would like to clarify that the Tribe has only tried to help in this donation supplies issue, by providing a storage facility for the large quantity of donated items coming in for the camps. We have never attempted to guide or interfere with distribution. To avoid any further confusion, we ask that camp donations from here on out be sent to specific people at the respective camps, and not directly to the tribal offices. Any supply donations received by the tribal office will be returned to sender."

Today,

Well, bright and early this morning we were allowed to get our packages which never came to our shipping address of Sacred Stone Camp.

Where is this you might ask?

I've been called a liar by a few. As, I stated yesterday. These packages of heaters, cots, generators, hand warmers, space blankets and the list goes on for Sacred Stone Camp, the Big Camp, Red Warrior, and others are housed here.

If many of you know me, I believe everyone, including tribal government leaders must be held to a high standard. People look up on them for leadership.

Why was our people -- water protectors, Defenders and Vets -- asked to leave immediately.

You might have guessed why.
A certain meeting was held very quietly with those of the pipeline. I did receive confirmation, as we had guessed this might have happened.

One of the individuals who was at this meeting advised me of those in attendance, including the Colonel, including the oppositions.

Part of agreement was to have water protectors, defenders and vets, vacate the big camp.

This is why the announcement was abrupt for everyone to leave!

If I was the chairman and people came to support me I would have a traditional meal, thanking everyone for coming, supporting, and perhaps give gifts to all who came, with a closing prayers for all who came for a safe journey. But at the end, I would have told everyone in a year, we will have a big celebration for everyone to come back. This is me however as I was raised traditionally.

I am happy. We got our packages back. People depend on these supplies. We must take care of our people no matter what tribal nation is standing with us to kill the Black Snake. This snake is not dead.

Now, we need a call out for trucks to help get these supplies to camp.

Thank you everyone who has sent supplies to help us. I'm saddened Red Warriors' camp is gone. They were very important in our cause.

We must put egos, and differences aside. I'm glad the other camp name is All Nations Camp. It's going for all of us as one nation to come together as one.

If we can do this correctly we can bring all minority groups United as one nation. We must continue to protect Mother Earth
