This morning at 4:15 am we started our 30th Annual Mt. Graham Sacred Run leaving San Carlos and now entering Bylas, Arizona. Thirty years ago a vision was given showing us breaking down barriers and making our way home. Our ancestors once roamed free on the mountain being able to pray and be Apache. The government exiled our people and placed us as prisoners of war which still exist today. This run is showing that enough is enough. We will continue to exist and continue to fight for our religion and way life. We are going home!

Thank you to Robert Free, who was at Alcatraz, Wounded Knee and the Trail of Broken Treaties, and went on to work with President Hugo Chavez to bring heating oil to Native Americans. Robert was part of a Native trade and culture exchange in Libya.

Enbridge is drilling under riverbeds across Anishinaabe treaty territory, including the Willow River, where it appears construction hit an aquifer while drilling. The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency is “investigating” the frac-out with seemingly little urgency.

The risks have increased. Today's travel warning shows that fully vaccinated people are at risk of contracting and spreading COVID-19 variants, which includes Delta variant.

The CDC and the United States issued the highest warning about travel, warning travelers not to go to Britian.

"Because of the current situation in the United Kingdom, even fully vaccinated travelers may be at risk for getting and spreading COVID-19 variants," CDC said.

WiNDOW ROCK, Navajo Nation -- The Delta variants of COVID-19 are spreading on the Navajo Nation. The number of cases and deaths from coronavirus increased over the weekend.

The Navajo Department of Health said the Delta virus cases on the Navajo Nation resulted from Dine' travel to Las Vegas, Phoenix and Utah, and was then spread by way of family gatherings.

Over the weekend, the Navajo Nation government reported 30 new cases of coronavirus and two deaths on Saturday and Sunday, July 17 and 18, 2021.
