LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- The Sacred Water Unity Walk is on its way to Pahrump, walking and running 700 miles now through the southern Nevada desert. The Sacred Walk began at Hualapai's sacred Ha'Kamwe' in Arizona and is on its way to the Paiute Massacre Site in northern Nevada, Peehee Mu'huh, Thacker Pass. Both Ceremonial Places are targeted by lithium mining.

THACKER PASS, Nevada -- While descendants of the survivors of the massacre of Paiutes at Peehee Mu'huh struggled to protect the sacred remains from the digging of a lithium mine, owned by Lithium Americas on Canada -- law enforcement had a spider web of surveillance.

The law enforcement surveillance of defenders of Peehee Mu'huh, Thacker Pass, began before Myron Dewey was killed, and continued afterwards.

ProPublica and Nevada Independent expose the spy trail of law enforcement and private security of Lithium Americas. The surveillance web of 10 agencies included the BIA, and a counter-terrorism task force.

Apache Stronghold visited Peehee Mu’huh (Thacker Pass), the second stop on the Prayer Journey to the Supreme Court to Stop the Shattering of Human Existence and Protect Mother Earth.

We visited with the People of Red Mountain, who are fighting a lithium mine that is destroying their sacred site. When we arrived at the entrance to Peehee Mu’huh, we found a chain link wall with a locked gate, blocking everyone except those authorized by the mine.

Update -- September 5: Burning Man vehicles are making their way out of the mud now. On Monday, 70,000 festival-goers remained stuck in the mud at Burning Man after heavy rains and flooding. They were told to shelter in place, as food and water ran low, and toilets couldn't be cleaned. One death was reported during heavy rain. The road in and out was closed except for ambulances until the ground dried out. The annual event is on BLM land, and the BLM charges Burning Man more than $3 million for the special use fee. The area considers it an economic boost. Washoe County said it brought in $60 million in tourism-related revenues in 2019. However, already this year, the local Sheriff said people are leaving their vehicles and garbage behind in the mud. FALLON PAIUTE SHOSHONE LAND -- When Myron Dewey live streamed the day before his death from the Fallon bombing range, he was doing what he did best, what he had done at Standing Rock. Myron was opposing the expansion of the Fallon bombing range on Paiute Shoshone homelands, and the war machine in Nevada. Bombing, live combat fire, and electronic warfare are carried out here by the Navy Seals' special ops.

The Navy Seals' electronic warfare sites at Fallon are restricted. Electronic warfare includes directed energy, high-energy weapons using lasers, radio-frequency weapons, high-power microwave, electromagnetic pulse, and delivery of electromagnetic cyberspace attacks. Jammers used to deflect incoming missiles are part of military experiments.

"Genocide," was the word that Myron used in his final words as he live-streamed at the Fallon bombing range. The next day, a truck hit his car head-on, on an isolated dirt road near his family's home on Sept. 26, 2021, near Yomba, Nevada.

"Genocide," is the word Myron wanted his grandchildren to remember.

WINNEMUCCA INDIAN COLONY, Nevada -- In a cruel action during winter, the Winnemucca Tribal Court evicted Paiute and Shoshone elders without a trial, and banished people from their homes with no place to go in northern Nevada. Elders' homes and possessions have been burned and demolished, and utility lines cut, attorneys said.

"They are living in motels right before Christmas, and it is heartbreaking," said Kyle Missourii, who was arrested and tasered as he returned to his home, where he grew up, which is owned by his 88-year-old grandmother. Kyle is now in jail.

The Winnemucca Tribal Court ruled for the disputed Tribal Council without giving elders and residents the benefit of a trial. The tribal court ordered most elders and residents out of the homes they have lived in for decades by Friday, December 9, attorneys said.

Paiute Elder Resident JJ Ayer said, “I am of seven generations of Native people that have lived on the Winnemucca Indian Colony. This is wrong in every way, most of us are disabled and old with no other home but here and now we are banished from our land.”

Paiute and Shoshone elders said the tribal council, led by a chairwoman who does not live here, and provides inconsistent claims of being Native American, have brought in a demolition business from Kingman, Arizona, to destory their homes.

PYRAMID LAKE PAIUTE NATION -- The Eagle Staff War Memorial Run recounted the Pyramid Lake War of 1860. The nine mile run on Friday, May 20, 2016, ended with a feed for the people. 

Buck Sampson said, "It was the Eagle Staff War Memorial Run for the War Between the Calvary and the Indians at Pyramid Lake in 1860, told by the Indians and their descendants who fought to save the Natives. It was the Indians telling their side of the story of how it all started."

"Two white traders kidnapped two Indian girls, nine and twelve, and raped and molested them for a week. Indians found the girls tied up in their cellar and the Indians killed the five white men there," Sampson told Censored News.

"Volunteers from Virginia City went to Pyramid Lake to teach the Indians a lesson. Some of the warriors stayed back, allowing the women and children to escape to main camps in Nixon, Nevada, at Pyramid Lake."

Sampson said that at Pyramid Lake, they had two wars.

"Indians defeated the volunteers in the first battle. Major Ormsby was killed in the war by Paiute Indians. Native casualties weren't bad compared to the Calvary.

"Then, at the Mudd Lake Massacre in 1865, the Calvary wiped out women and children, and the old men, at Mud Lake."

"They are in Tonopah now and continue on Highway 95 to Yucca Mountain, ending at Mercury Peace Camp. They will be camping along the road."

Walking in prayer, the Sacred Peace Walk began at the National Atomic Testing Museum in Las Vegas and continued through traditional Western Shoshone homelands to the Nuclear Test site.
"The Nuclear Test Site is on Western Shoshone land, under the 1863 Treaty of Ruby Valley," said Western Shoshone Buck Sampson, whose son Carl walked on the 60-mile annual walk this week.
"This is what I learned back in the '80s, Sundancing. Every step is a prayer, and every prayer is to the Creator, Sundancing in the old ways," Buck said.
The Sacred Peace Walk concluded with a sunrise ceremony and prayers by Western Shoshone Spiritual Advisor Johnny Bobb.
"Johnny Bobb is the leader for the Indian walkers," Buck Sampson said.
Buck said Johnny Bobb is responsible for issuing permits to non-Indians who cross the boundary into Western Shoshone territory of Yucca Mountain. Johnny Bobb serves as Chief of the Western Shoshone National Council.
Sacred Peace Walker Carl 'Bad Bear' Sampson has walked on the Native American Longest Walks 2, 3 and 4 across America and documented the walks as a photojournalist for Censored News.
"Walking on these walks is praying. Prayer is knowledge and knowledge is power," Carl said.
Atomic Testing and the United States Disregard for Human Life
The US Nuclear Test Site is a harbinger of horror which resulted in global atrocities and mass destruction for mankind.
Further, Western Shoshone, US military, and Southwest residents were exposed, unprotected, to radiation and fallout.
Above ground nuclear testing began here in the early 1950s. The mushroom clouds became a symbol of the widespread disease and death that resulted. Those images were a symbol of the United States disregard for all life, including the Western Shoshones, whose land, water and air were poisoned with radiation.
Sacred Peace Walkers walked in prayer to sacred Yucca Mountain, where the Nuclear Test Site is located. Yucca Mountain was targeted earlier for a US nuclear waste dump.
The Sacred Peace Walk offered prayers of healing and prayers for the unity of mankind.
