MNN. Dec. 17, 2014. Today is the first day of the solstice. The natural variety of languages will enhance the spreading of the Great Peace throughout the world. Everyone wants to see a world without war for our children. Mohawk Nation News is being translated into many languages. We are grateful for this encouragement. Attached are two articles that were translated into French and German, and an historic Vancouver city council video
“They are always very well read throughout the French speaking communities. French language alternative medias are growing in interest with the territorial and colonial issues brought by the western civilization. We are pleased to think that somehow we have been part of the trigger in the boost of interest, for these essential questions…”
This group in France has translated the 117 wampums of Kaianere’ko:wa into French. Soon it will be on the Mohawk Nation News home page for anyone to print out. The Great Peace definitely has a major role for creating a better world.
This MNN article is translated into German and Dutch.
German reader, a friend of Censored, said the new translator’s German is perfect. The Dutch is by a longtime translator Alice Holemans. Here’s the MNN article with translations at Censored News:
Vancouver mayor and council submit to historic First Nations’ natural ceremony, the “brushing off” ritual, the small condolence ceremony.
John Lennon asked us to: “Imagine there no heaven. Its easy if you try. No hell below us. Above us only sky. Imagine all the people living for today”.

In an order filed on December 2, 2014, in the Court of Appeals of The Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation, Chief Justice Anita Dupris dismissed Swan v. Colville Business Council, effectively ending the first phases of a court battle that began in May 2013.
In a press release dated December 8, 2014, Colville Business Council Chairman Jim Boyd announced the decision much to the disappointment of the Colville Members for Justice.
Yvonne Swan, the named plaintiff in the original civil complaint, responded by saying “With this recent adverse court decision there is even more determination to show the injustices within the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation.”

PARIS—The Navajo delegation on a mission to Paris, led by Navajo Nation Vice President Rex Lee Jim was successful in their repatriation efforts of sacred Navajo masks that went on sale at an auction house by bidding and outright purchasing all seven sacred Navajo masks.

“This was a very delicate mission,” Vice President Rex Lee Jim said at the conclusion of the auction. “We are happy to be taking these Navajo sacred masks home to be cleansed by our Navajo medicine people, who will determine when these masks will be used in our wintertime ceremonies,” he said.

The Navajo delegation arrived in Paris France on Friday. Upon arrival, the delegation wanted to verify the masks as being of Navajo origin. In a private ceremony held at the Drouot Auction House, the vice president offered sacred Navajo prayers for the masks, believed to be authentically of the early 1900s.

“In our prayers and songs to these sacred Navajo beings, we spoke and our deities know that we do care. Our ceremony was a way to reconnect with them and to let them know that we are here to take them home. We did not forget them. We care about who we’re taught to be—DinĂ©. It’s a way to communicate with the inner beings of these sacred masks,” the vice president said.

In bringing awareness while in a foreign country, the vice president said there is an urgent need to understand that nationally and internationally and out of respect for one another’s cultures and ceremonies, and respect for human dignity and diversity that, “we all need to be aware that there are certain sacred beings that we should never, ever sell. In this case, one cannot imagine selling other peoples sacred beings. These masks are living, breathing beings,” the vice president added.

“These masks are spiritual beings and the Navajo people have strong connections with them. We need to regard them as such,” Vice President Rex Lee Jim said.

The Navajo delegation offers gratitude for the tremendous support from those who have stepped forward urging Eve auction house to halt the sale until Navajo and other tribal representatives can view and authenticate the masks. They thank United States Ambassador Jane Hartley, and officials for the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. “This was a government to government cooperation, and we are grateful,” said the vice president before leaving Paris.

The Navajo delegation returns to Window Rock, Ariz., Tuesday.

Zapatistas Festival of Resistance as Genocide of Indigenous Peoples Continues

The Eve Auction in Paris continued its cultural genocide with an auction of ceremonial items of Hopi, Pueblo, Navajo, Lakota and other Native Americans today.

The auction in Paris follows the theft of sacred Apache land for copper mining in the US Congress, led by Arizona Sen. John McCain.

The assault on Indigenous Peoples continues around the world, as Native people are being murdered defending their lands from mining companies, invaders and development. In Ecuador, Indigenous leader JosĂ© Isidro Tendetza AntĂºn opposing mining was murdered as he prepared to leave for the Peru Climate Summit. Marinalva Manoel, Guarani spokeswoman from Brazil and defender of the land from cattle ranchers, was stabbed to death in November.

In the US, Sen. John McCain's new mode of genocide is no where more obvious than in the slick theft of Apache sacred lands for the benefit of a foreign corporation for copper mining. Of course, McCain's theft of sacred lands in Arizona is nothing new, nor is the complicity by the corrupt media who are in the saddle with fellow politicians and corporate bedfellows. As the media in the national Indian country news stayed home and plagiarized, the coyotes and snakes were free in the halls of Congress.

With deception and spin, McCain and his team of thieves hid away the theft of Oak Flat, sacred lands of Apache, in the National Defense Authorization Act passed by the Senate on Friday, after being passed by the House. McCain and his fellow thieves in Congress have duped the public once again.

Although the Navajo Nation purchased Dineh ceremonial masks in the Eve auction in Paris today and rescued those. There were 275 sacred items listed on 110 pages of the Eve catalog which  remained for sale to the highest bidder, despite pressure from the US Ambassador to halt the auction. Those sacred items range from ceremonial items of the Hupa in California, to the Kiowa and Cheyenne in the Plains, to the Blackfeet in the north, and Mayans in the south, encompassing all of North America.

However, the movement for resistance and hope continues. The Zapatistas struggle for autonomy, dignity and justice is underway at The World Festival for Resistance and Rebellion against Capitalism in Mexico. The rallies in communities lead up to the gathering of the Zapatistas and National Indigenous Congress in Oventic, Chiapas at the end of December. The schedule is in Spanish, English, Italian, French, Dutch and German at Censored News.

Mohawk Nation News 'ONO’WARE:GEH'

ONO’WARE:GEH

mnnlogo1
Please post & distribute. Ni:wen.
MNN. Dec. 15, 2014. Ono’waregeh is Mohawk for Great Turtle Island. New Victoria Mayor, Lisa Helps, swore an oath to the Ongwe’hon:we of the area. When all mayors refuse to take an oath to the Queen, the Privy Council will be removed and colonization will end.
Privy Council: "Brother, can you spare a dime?"
Privy Council: “Brother, can you spare a dime?”
Control over everything regarding the land reverts to the Ongwe’hon:we caretakers. The word “government” comes from the Greek words, “governado” and “mente”, meaning “to control the mind”. This will end.
In the natural calender December 25th is the first day of the new year. The sun rises one degree north and the new cycle begins. This year peace will take hold on Kanion’ke:haka land known as the “Seigneury”.
The real Quebecois were never assimilated and want peace on earth that the Kaianere’ko:wa represents. The British oligarchs forced their corporate Admiralty system on them, which they resisted every step of the way. Unfortunately, they are still trapped in the Admiralty system. They have a role with us to balance this impediment. The Mohawk Council of Kahnawake Inc. is illegally trying to relocate the Kanion’ke:haka of Kahnawake to stop the spread of the Great Peace. To the oligarchs the Great Peace is more deadly to their new world order program than any of their man-made killer viruses like ebola and AIDS.
We saw this trick in 1974.
MCK Inc., this “Seigneury” trick failed in 1975.
The Quebecois inspired the French revolution in 1784. The last Dauphin, son of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette, ended up in Kahnawake.
The Admiralty matrix creates divisions within all of our communities. In Kaianere’ko:wa, the Great Peace, the women’s jurisdiction is everything in the natural world. They set up Councils of Women to run each of their communities. Every plant, animal and person is taken care of in a sustainable way. The men ensure that everyone interacts with the community following the Great Peace. The Admiralty system of judiciary, jails and police are unnecessary.
Our next peace conference will happen soon. Like the 1701 Great Peace of Montreal, the world will join the Quebecois and the Kanion’ke:haka and peace will start to spread.
The Great Peace is about families. We become of one mind on issues that affect our communities. The people of each community has the power as it is meant.
womenEveryone is a warrior for spreading the Great Peace. Once women, as the progenitors of the soil, take their true natural place, then the peace will be able to spread to the world. The men protect the women. No one harms the women, the children and all living things in the community. The Great Peace is their authority.
As Jigosaseh did before the last sun with Deganawida, when the Quebecois and the Mohawk women make peace, it will spread like wildfire. Soon available on the MNN home page will be the French translation of the Great Peace.
As Memphis Slim sings: “Don’t care how great you are. Don’t care what you’re worth. When it all ends up, you gotta go back to mother earth”.
