OAK FLAT -- Runners are on their way to Oak Flat today, running with prayers for the protection of the sacred. The ceremonial place is targeted to be destroyed by a copper mine.
"This morning we honor the past, present, and future. Those who’ve passed on before us and those yet to be born. We begin our last leg at the corridor to the canyon leading to Oak Flat. Please drive safe if you see us on the road and thanks for the continuous prayers and support blessings relatives," said Morgun Frejo, this morning.
Today, runners are on their way to Oak Flat from Miami. On Sunday morning, join Apache Stronghold for a Blessing at Oak Flat. Bring camping gear and warm clothes, meals provided.
