Greta Thunberg gives her first words after she was released from Israeli prison where she was beat and forced to kiss the Israeli flag. Greta said the story is not about them, the story is about Gaza.

"I could talk a very, very long time about our mistreatment and abuse in our imprisonment, trust me, but that is not the story."

"I will never comprehend how humans can be so evil. That you would deliberately starve millions of people living trapped under an illegal siege as a continuation of decades and decades of suffering suffocation, oppression and apartheid," Greta said, after 161 flotilla members arrived in Athens today.

STANDING ROCK DAKOTA NATION -- Chief Arvol Looking Horse greeted Greta Thunberg at Standing Rock today. Greta received a name from Chief Arvol Looking Horse. Translated into English it means, “Woman Who Came From the Heavens."

Tokatawin Iron Eyes and Greta spoke to students on climate change today in Standing Rock, urging action to protect the resources of the Earth for future generations.  Chief Arvol Looking Horse bestowed a Lakota name on Greta, “maphiyata echiyatan hin win,” which means “woman who came from the heavens," the Bismarck Tribune reports.

Former Standing Rock Chairman Jesse Taken Alive suggested the name, telling Thunberg “You have awakened the world. We stand with you.”

Chief Arvol Looking Horse said, “Historically when other Nations came to our territory that made an impact in our lives -- they received a name in Our language -- we didn’t use their language. Even Custer got a name."

"Only our People had the Right to request a Sacred Name - it was then we used a feather or a nickname was given by family - Tios’paye. We never used names to condemn because language was sacred.”

Greta, the Swedish activist now known around the world, said on Twitter, ‪The last two days Tokata Iron Eyes and I visited Takini School, Standing Rock Community School and the beautiful Standing Rock Reservation."

"Thank you everyone for your leadership, your resistance and your incredible hospitality! Indigenous peoples are at the frontline, they are often the ones who are affected the most by the climate and ecological crisis, yet they are not the ones responsible for it. They are also the ones who are leading the fight against it. We are now so desperate for their voices and knowledge of how to live in balance with nature."
